Vibes were weird, definitely pretty empty and on the older side. They were also charging inconsistent cover.

One of my favorite musical artist, Kaiien Cruz, had an album listening party here and IT WAS GREAT!!Brian, the bartender, was super kind. It is a great spot and very spacious. There's a stage, there's space for all to enjoy and not have to worry about bumping into one another. They have a pretty big bar and they also have a patio area where someone can smoke and chill. The artwork at ArtBarLA was STUNNING!! Definitely check it out.Parking could be a bit annoying but there's ample parking around the corner, in the residential area so that was pretty cool. There's also a Bowlero parking lot, around the corner -- take what you want with that lol.

This place is novel as far as art installations go, but even "good" would be a stretch. The venue purports to be an art bar, but every time I've been there, they're out of beer or running low. Not draft, mind you, but bottled. Also, they're all but totally unresponsive on any platform when trying to get a hold of them. Also, the A/C was broken when I was there. Also, their listed hours are patently incorrect. Also, the bartenders are rude to the people renting the venue (yeah, dude, we heard you chewing out the model for being "unprofessional" - how ironic.)I wouldn't be so livid if I hadn't mistakenly left my credit card there and then failed to get a hold of someone - anyone - during their hours of operation... for a week straight. Nobody picks up the phone. The venue is dark. Their Facebook message responses are automated. Between sparse art showings, no actual bar operations, and a minimal, we're-doing-YOU-a-favor attitude, this place is hardly a bar and only tangentially related to art.

Incredibly rude venue owner, treats people like trash. Beers cost far more than reasonable. Be sure to come here if you're in the business of paying $14 for a mediocre IPA.

Drove up from San Diego for a show tonight. The owner canceled the show shortly before doors, because they couldn’t find a bartender??? Ridiculously unprofessional! ?

I haven't ventured around Venice much, but I really enjoyed this spot! My sister and I visited for a Painting & Vino class and it was a great location for that. It's small but homey and has some interesting and unique art pieces on the walls. Definitely a vibe. We really enjoyed ourselves during our time here, and the bartender was super friendly and helpful. I ordered a hard ginger beer and my sister got a hard kombucha during our paint & sip class. The drinks are quite pricey here, but I'm also happy to support a local business like this. The bartender accidentally gave me the wrong can at first, but then brought out the right one. Not sure why he took the old one back, since I feel like it was probably just thrown out anyways, but maybe he was just looking out for me (being a lightweight and all LOL).

Very limited drink selections. Very nice bartender. Art would have been cool if we weren’t alone in the bar, and being alone with dolls stapled to canvases is … different. It felt like a Tuesday at a carnival.
