I really love the food so much & Mina is such an amazing person and she has such an amazing and sweet personality and I really love eating chef Kwang food and I have been there for a 3 or 4 times already and I hope this restaurant will survive longer and I really love this location more better than the old location that Baroo have last time. Congratulations of again to Mina Park & Kwang Uh and very cute Thomas and I can't wait to continue coming back to Baroo more and more because I don't get tired of the food at all

Good food! Not mind blowing but a couple of dishes were quite unique to the r extent of coming back for them. Ambiance is chill. Service is, as in the server - was complete shit. Our server, the armed tattoo girl was the most unhelpful server I've had. Funny enough, I've had her at the Hippo a few months ago and she was the same there as well. We had to ask to replace her. When asked which drinks she recommended, the answer was "they are all good". When my friend asked about the meat choices and what's her favorite, again she replied "everything is good here", not polite, the fakest smile I've seen in a long time, and tried at least as possible to make any attempt to represent a 1 Star Michelin restaurant. Did not even try to be helpful, attentive, and detailed. Read the room! Asking for your opinion on the menu is one of the basic definitions of being a server. Best part...? You guessed it! When time to pay and handing us that "tip" machine, the smiles were all over and the questions and fake attention was full on. Disgusting behavior. If this is what a server at a Michelin restaurant is, the attention to the fine detail went all the way down. Get your act together, we are people - not tipping machines. Obviously, this is an easy gig for you. Can you pretend it's not? Get the food, avoid the "way too cool" tattooed lady at all price for a much better experience.

I highly recommend this restaurant. The chef's twist on traditional Korean cuisine is insanely impressive. Tucked away in the Arts District of LA, this restaurant stands out with its modern take on Asian flavors. The staff was efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. I would definitely come back here.

A wonderful evening. Every dish of the tasting menu was superb and each built upon the previous; excellent progression of tastes and textures. The wine and sool pairings were perfect, and the waitstaff were attentive. knowledgeable and friendly. Really top notch in every way.

Baroo is a place where I feel like I can safely say "I ate there before it was a Michelin guide/star restaurant" Get those accolades ready. From the service, to the quality of the food, to overall presentation, Baroo checked off all the boxes. Def comparable to Michelin star places I've eaten abroad. I thoroughly enjoyed each item on the tasting menu. Everything was great and 5 of the 7 dishes wowed my taste buds. Although I'm no culinary expert, to cap off the entire meal, my one suggestion for the chef/owners is for the dessert; it's missing something. While we liked it and thought it was different, the shaved ice and cream on the bottom needs something along the lines of graham cracker pieces or comparable crunch. Just an observation that I had and the people I ate with had as well. Keep up the great work. Returning asap. Cheers.

Excellent meal and bday celebration for my son. Clean sophisticated decor, super friendly and attentive service. Set menu $110 with wine, sool, and alcohol free pairings available. Food is amazing, especially the scallop and fried sole. Highly recommend.

Excellent service, great thinking and intention in every detail. Menu was coursed and timed perfectly. Everything cooked to perfection. $110 per person and an additional $65 for the wine pairing for a whole menu that doesn't skimp out on premium ingredients. Loved everything about this place and can't wait to come back again!

They offer a wine pairing with the tasting menu and I'd recommend doing both. The food was delicious and there was a good variety of soju cocktails.

We went on one of the first nights it was open and we were blown away with the unique combinations of flavor and texture. Service was perfect as well. The staff was not overbearing.

Pre-birthday month celebrations, so of course we needed to try out the new Baroo! And, easy and free parking in the structure, which is a giant plus in my books. 3 of us had the first 3 cocktails and my fave was the banana milk punch; I don't like banana, but it was so good. The 4th had the sool tasting which paired very well. Everything was delicious, but or faves were the fish dishes and the rice. But, those short ribs were soooo tasty and tender.

One of the best meals I've had in years. Flew out to see the Rangers play the Kings (disaster), but what saved the trip was Baroo and Squid Games. Baroo's service is perfect - the owners remembered the one thing I was allergic to and each dish was better than the previous - we were blown away by everything. We did the wine pairing, but if it's out of budget, at least you'll enjoy a most incredible dining experience!!!

Excellent food and service, however portions are too small. Went for a group dinner of 8-10 and it worked out well. Was quiet enough where we could hear each other talk.

Baroo is a must go spot! Baroo offers one of the best dining experiences in all of Los Angeles. The food is very fresh with some very interesting Korean dishes. The Cod is easily the best I have ever had as well as the Scallops! Lovely place and I highly recommend it to anyone 10/10 will be back! The service is easily some of the best I have ever had, very attentive and always giving a great rundown of the dish and drinks we were having.

Everything --- food, quality, flavors, portion sizes, service, and price --- was excellent. No more words needed.
