The presentation was awesome and pulled my guests in to his incredible food. He prepared everything I asked for and them some. There was such an abundance of food that I sent my family food with it and every days later I was getting texts and calls about how delicious the food was.The food tasted just like my grandmother makes it.Ben was very easy to work with and always responsive to all my questions and concerns. He put me at ease and made sure that everything was perfect for my event. He met with my husband and I and went over the floor plans and decor to help me bring to life the event that I dreamed of. He even took photos for me of the event so we could really remember everything.Ben I am forever grateful. At first we were hesitant on hiring Benjamin to do our event after hearing some things. we were doing a henna and didn't have anyone available on our dates to make moroccan food and Ben reassured us and made us comfortable. He wowed us and there was plenty of food, very tasty and we even took home food. The display was gorgeous and they did a great job. Tip for planning an event: always discuss details before i.e. who is providing bar and what you must bring vs what they are bringing.

Two years ago my brother threw a surprise birthday party for my sister in law. The party was out of this world! I think people would have paid to attend but as fun as it was, it was the food that was the highlight of the night. This is a catering company that understands the art of the culinary world and the menu was so unique. I 100% thought it was not kosher (because we don't keep kosher in our family but my sister in law's parents do). We had "cheeseburgers" on the menu and I totally thought they were real cheeseburgers but no, it was vegan cheese! There was a gorgeous charcuterie board, tons of appetizers and a real world class plated dinner. I am still thinking about the lamb!! Good GD that lamb!! As good as the party was I kinda forgot about Black Tie Catering for personal use because I don't keep kosher. Anyway, a few months ago my brother and sister in law had a baby and I was the elected event planner for the bris. We of course contacted Black Tie Catering and let me tell you, Benjamin was so easy to work with. He got excited about our menu because I asked for all these fun stations and his creative bulb just lit up. He let me know he also has a dairy kitchen so we did a dairy bris and people are still talking about how good the food was. I must add the service was excellent!! Great work Benjamin!! You have a devout fan for life!!

i had an engagement party for my daughter and needed a variety of kosher and original desserts. Sara was wonderful to work with and she delivered a delicious assortment of cookies and cupcakes and mini puddings and tarts that were both delicious and yummy to look at. Everyone loved the chocolate chip cookies and the french macaroons were both colorful and delicious. They disappeared in a minute and I had to refill the plates. The marzipan flavored ones were my personal favorite of all the desserts. My son used them for catering a family dinner at his home and the meat was spectacular and all the food so good that I had to try them for the desserts. I was not disappointed, and Sara really made it easy and special in every way.

What a wonderful kosher catering company. We went to a beautiful bar mitzvah catered by this company. There were a lot of guests but also enough food for everyone. Every serving plate had a proper utensil to dish out the food. And there were enough plates and silverware for everyone. The presentation of the food was beautiful. They had two kinds of salad: caesar and spinach strawberry. They had a fish table with lox and herring and a delicious white fish. (The white fish did have the bones in it, personal preference, I would want them taken out for my event.) They also had fried chicken and regular turkey and some other type of red meat with what looked like beans and Mac and cheese. They also had some fake bacon tart type of thing. I did not eat the Mac and cheese but my friend loved it (it was made without dairy). There really was something for everyone. The party also had a gorgeous dessert table with very pretty desserts. The only thing I may have missed is that, while there were ample forks and knives, I did not see a spoon to use to eat the pudding desserts. If it was there, it was not easy to find. The servers were very professional, nice, and available if you needed their help. Overall, this is a great caterer and I would hire them for my event.

Very responsive & creative in terms of customizing the menu to fit our budget. The food was fantastic and more than enough for our guests. Service was great, and a overall very seamless experience allowing us to focus our time on our new baby boy and spending time at the event with friends & family...and not worry about logistics. There ought to be a ten-star rating for Benjamin and his team. On short notice they helped me carry off a dinner for my military colleagues that brought raves. Working with Benjamin on the menu and other logistical issues was as easy as it could be. On the day of the event, they were on time and had everything set up well in advance. We contacted Black Tie Catering one month before the party and they were outstanding from beginning to end. We had 600+ guests at my Malibu estate and they blew everyone away with flying colors. The food and presentation was outstanding however the most important thing is what Benjamin did. He met my grandmother and asked her "what would you like at your birthday party?" and she said "my mother's chicken soup". Benjamin asked the ingredients and how her mother made it. He duplicated the soup just for her! My grandmother lost her mother in the Holocaust. Benjamin asked for specific details to ensure he could duplicate it. We didn't want chicken soup on the menu for everyone but Benjamin insisted on making her a batch just for her and gave her extra to freeze at no extra charge. My grandmother tasted the soup and cried. She said "it tastes just like my mothers". I HIGHLY recommend Black Tie Catering especially for a special occasion. Their staff is on point and professional. The food is insanely delicious with people still raving about it. Benjamin is a mensch and a pleasure to work with. I am so thankful I found Black Tie Catering. This is my go to catering company from now on.

Ben Catered our Synagogues fundraiser and it was amazing! Rave reviews all around and at an excellent price! We did a tasting menu with 8 different small plate dishes, each one was delicious and also very aesthetically presented! (see attached menu) our guests were thoroughly impressed! He was easy to work with and put my nerves at ease with his easygoing , relaxed attitude, his staff came on time and provided top notch service throughout, I would definitely use him again and highly recommend him !
