What a wonderful experience. First time at this establishment and I appreciate it very much. We had a nice lunch and enjoyed the history it has to share. It's the perfect spot for families, children, and fans of aviation and history. Ordering was simple. You can use a self order monitor at the front or you can order at the desired food location. You'll get a text when food is ready. They have a variety of food, refreshments, and a bar. Food prices were appropriate as well as portions. Indoor seating gives you the opportunity to enjoy the planes and ambiance of the restaurant. It's was a sunny day so we enjoyed the seating area outdoors located on the patio. There's a playground for your children to enjoy, incoming flights landing at LAX (across the street) that fly directly over head! What a treat for children and those who love planes. Lastly, there's also a path of retired or replicated airplanes, with a history that goes back to wwll. My son was in heaven, as he was inspired to share all of his knowledge on the science of airplanes and the history of aviators Lastly, plenty of free parking! Definitely a place worth visiting.

Such an interesting time at this venue because it's rich with history and memories. The food court and bar are a pleasant touch to the remodeled meeting and banquet rooms. I love the people here most. Romina is a gem as are the rest of the staff. My only tip during the lunch rush is a few more staff would be useful and I say this with complete respect to the difficult times this country is experiencing. Plenty of parking to suit your needs always!!! Plan an event here or pop in and chill. We did both today

This place was a great place to eat and have a beer. But lately it's gone down hill service sucks food takes forever. Trying to get another beer when sitting at the bar. You have jump up and down and them maybe they might see you. I keep coming but nothing changes. I'm done with this place

So I went here on Sunday for lunch with the little one and the grandparent. Love the playground and space for letting the kid run around. I ordered a hot chicken sandwich and unfortunately it was served still raw in the middle. I did leave a 3 star review instead of 1 because once I informed the kitchen manager, they were extremely apologetic and made no excuses. They refunded the sandwich and made a new one, and gave my little one an ice cream on the house. I appreciated how they handled it and since I've worked in food service before, I know these things can happen. The rest of the food we ordered (burgers and tots) were delicious.

Very cool place. It's like a food court. Place your order at one location and they give you a beeper when your food is ready. We ordered a cheeseburger and the Salmon bowl. We sat out in that park area. Great plane spotting area.

We underestimated the number of people joining us in celebrating our child's birthday. The outdoor first come first serve picnic tables were not going to work out for us. We called The Proud Bird's catering team, Romina was our point of contact, to plan a last minute catered menu and service. Oh did she deliver. Jose was our kind host, made sure to time the food so that it was warm, beverages filled, and attended our tables swiftly. We had Bludso's BBQ and their classic sides, pizza from their in-house pizza oven, fruit, and the California salad. The outdoor location by the fire pits provided a cozy spot to view the planes go by. The kids appeared to enjoy the wide open space and playground with the backdrop of vintage planes to explore up close. We were very pleased with our time at The Proud Bird. Thank you The Proud Bird team for accommodating our party and providing us such a wonderful day!

Nice place to hangout. There's a playground outside for the kids and a bar inside for the adults. A few food choices to choose from. I ordered a pizza, fried pickles, and jalapeño poppers. The staff were nice. Lots of seating.

BEWARE! The event space service was appallingly horrible. I recently contracted with the event center for my loved one's repast luncheon which was to begin immediately following the funeral BUT upon arrival my guests were greeted to an empty room (no appetizers, no tea/water, NO FOOD)! We were told by wait staff that food would not be served for another 90 minutes; so my hungry guests had to sit around and wait for service...while I scrambled to find out what happened. Apparently, there was a mix up with directions to the kitchen by the sales office. Eventually, food was served. But to add injury to insult, while I contracted and paid for 100 guests/lunches, it was apparent that the kitchen only prepared and served the approximate 75 guests in attendance. We were not allowed to package what should have been 25 leftover dinners to donate to a local women's shelter (sales cited Covid restrictions)! In fact, several guests arrived late and were told there were no appetizers or meals available. Obviously, the kitchen did not prepare 100 meals but I most definitely paid for them. This was a complete nightmare and I hate to relive it! Save yourself the heartache and financial loss; and think twice before contracting here for a repast or any other important event.

Pros: - Bludso's BBQ is here! The #1 reason to come here. - Large dog-friendly patio for lingering over a beer and some food - You can watch the planes coming low to land nearby, without the plane noise drowning out conversation - Beautiful view of the snow on the mountains in winter - You can order from two kiosks Cons: - Only one person was taking food and beverage orders for the entire location! Nobody seems to know about the kiosks, so the line for orders is crazy long. Plus, if you want to talk to an actual person about order options, the kiosks are not going to work for you. - You are supposed to get a text when the order is ready but we did not, so the food sat and got cold before we hunted it down. - Low staff means uncleaned tables and overflowing trash cans - Lots of kids - the playground is a big plus for families but for the rest means noisy kids

Having a toddler of my own, I have always complaines that there just isnt enough family friendly establishments where both parents and little ones can have a blast. Say no more fam! Right next to LAX is a wonderful place where littlecones and adults can have a great time around all things planes. Upon walking in, you immediately are within the food hall with an abundance of food options. Are the options unique and stand out at all? Not really. But for parents and little ones, they have perfect options. We ordered some chicken tenders and fries for our little guy and be loved them. Their outdoor space is even better in person. There is a playground for the little ones and an array of outdoor seating. They even have plane models outside for little ones to play around. Cool part is you get to see planes landing directly into LAX! How cool is that!?

This is a great place for food, drinks and watching airplanes. Outside are a few older airplanes and a nice place for the kids to play. I stopped by for a drink and to watch the planes landing at LAX. I ordered the fried pickles and coleslaw. I was surprised on how good the food was. The fried pickles had a thick batter on them and they were delicious. The cold slaw had a good flavor to it. You order from the bar and they gave us a pager. We sat outside and enjoyed watching the planes and the kids play. There is a large parking lot along with a few displays of the aircraft industry. They do have inside seating too. It's worth a stop to check out All the interesting things they have along with the restaurants
