Before comming to LA I heard from couple of people that I had to try coffee at Blue Bottle and without even knowing this my friend who I was visiting brought me here straight from the airport lol. I had latte and it was divine and next day tried capuccino and thought it was the best one I had in a while. Such a good coffee and nice atmosphere alltogether ?

I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon to find it pretty busy. After a short wait - I ordered what I think was called a sweet latte. The server never smiled, made iContact, and I'm pretty sure they didn't say please or thank you through our whole exchange. So I went to the side and waited for my coffee with about a half dozen other people. They were two baristas making coffee, and while I waited, I observed both of them going about their jobs and felt the vibe here was off. There's something kind of stark and unwelcoming about the decor. It reminded me of the well known coffee chain locations that you find inside of Target or a grocery store. Just a little sad. When I tasted the coffee, it didn't seem to be sweetened at all, but they have a station where you can add sugar or simple syrup. I added some simple syrup because I like sweet coffee - don't judge me. There was something about the coffee that just didn't appeal to me. The flavor was just off and I can't describe it. I think that the coffee was very overpriced for the quality and the experience that I had.

Im a fan of blue bottle coffee, and I'm an avid coffee drinker. This was my first time visiting a blue bottle coffee shop. The drinks - I ordered a saffron vanilla latte, and it was divine! The flavors were very balanced and I could taste all individual notes, it reminded me of Spring and lit up my day! The service - the barista helping me, the one with the fun eye makeup, she was friendly and made good recommendations! The ambiance - meh. I had higher expectations with their popularly known modern Japanese aesthetic... it was giving IKEA.

This place is awesome and it’s right next to a couple of other fabulous eateries so you really can’t go wrong even if one place is closed. If you need a quick rest stop after walking through the park next door, this is a great choice.Parking can be tricky but usually if you’re willing to cross west at the intersection it is on the corner of, there will be plenty of parking within a minute’s walk. It’s too far from the playa vista Runway to be walking from there, but not impossible if you’re adventurous.I am always tempted by their salted chocolate chip cookie, but I think it changes seasonally so you might see the equally tasty tahini chip cookie. I also love their iced matcha, but sometimes I opt for the latest seasonal tea.

Bravo to Blue Bottle Coffee for having fun flavors you won't find other places and clean places to sit and write/study. I had the black cardamom latte and it was amazing. Just the right amount of sweetness without being overbearing. It was a unique flavor that felt like a treat to the end.

Blue Bottle coffee is one of my go-to spots for an espresso drink. Ordering ahead is a quick and easy process through their app, which I try to do to avoid waiting in line. It's not my preferred coffee shop to study in because there is limited space, however it's a great grab-and-go spot. I always order a bag of their coffee beans to take home for my espresso machine, and they never disappoint.

Takes them forever to make a coffee. They need to hire some help cause right now 7 people are waiting to order and there’s only one guy making the coffees.

Outrageously expensive and waited over 20 min for a cup coffee Insane. The coffee itself is good, but service is crazy slow and expensive.
