I came in with my service dog but they had me sit outside, something I didn’t feel like challenging. They were still accommodating so I wasn’t too bothered, especially considering I have off-leash SDs and constantly face harassment, yet they handled it very well. Food is amazing, they have dishes I’ve never seen before.I took off a star because I noticed menu items on their online menu and asked about a dish, to which the waiter argued me on. He swore I had the wrong restaurant and I was unbothered, but he still insisted I was wrong and kept going, which wasn’t pleasant to deal with. Ironically, this review is asking me how that dish was ? Don’t order the bananas foster or you’ll have an argument! The outside patio is cute but not much of a view. Overall a good place

Mediocre brunch places must be stopped. It took almost 20 minutes just for my server to acknowledge me and ask what I’d like to drink. Coffee was mid. I ordered the croissant french toast ($19) which sounded great but tasted like it was cooked on the same griddle as the savory items. Weird taste to it. I couldn’t tell if the savory taste was coming from the apples or the french toast but I think it’s obvious those things shouldn’t be cooked on the same surface as bacon, eggs and seasoned potatoes. It was also soaked in syrup. The turkey bacon came out with no color and barely warmed, when I asked for it to come out crispy it came out charred but not “done” like they just put it quickly over the burner instead of COOKING it. I’ve never had turkey bacon this way. I told my server I was done, declined a coffee refill and had to wait an additional 25 minutes just to pay. Water guy kept my cup full though, I’ll give him that!

We made reservations for 1pm and when we got there we're told that a lot of people made reservations for the same time and that we'd have to wait 20 minutes for a table. We had requested an indoor table which wouldn't be available for another 25 minutes so were left to eat outside on wet furniture. The service was terrible and took almost 40 minutes to get a drink and food order in and then another 30 minutes for the food. We ended only splitting one sandwich based on what we were experiencing. The food had no flavor (turkey sandwich and fries) and overpriced $10 for a fruit bowl consisting of bananas and a couple strawberries. Would never go back and will advise everyone to avoid the waste of money.

Super cute place and the food was very good. But the service was terrible. We had a reservation, but were seated about 20 minutes late. Not the end of the world. But once we were seated, it took easily another 20 minutes to get our order taken and the server hardly ever returned. I don't blame him because they seemed to be wildly understaffed. It seemed that servers were running their own food and bussing and I only saw 2 of them! That's crazy for Sunday brunch. I doubt I'll be back.

We were there at lunch time on a weekend. The menu had a wide variety of choices, with both excellent breakfast and lunch options. The ambience was charming except that the air conditioner was on full blast on a relatively cool day so we changed our seats. (Hence 4 stars insteads of 5 for ambience). We'd been concerned about sitting directly under a speaker in our new spot, but it wasn't so intrusive as to make conversation difficult. The service was excellent. It was a bit challenging to park as we weren't staying at the hotel the restaurant is part of, but ultimately we were able to find street parking. It wasn't that major a problem but I'm mentioning it only to stress that you have to factor that in if trying to make it there by a specific time.

Delicious breakfast. Eggs Benedict was amazing. Rosemary potatoes are crispy and not hard inside. 10 of 10 for this breakfast.

We had both breakfast and dinner here while staying at The Palihotel. Both were delicious! The blueberry pancakes are really delicious. For dinner we had a great Caesar salad, fish tacos and flatbread. All very good.

Came here for breakfast with my family and ordered Eggs Bennedict, Nutella Banana Strawberry Crepe, and a Housemade Beef Slider Sandwich. Waited probably around 10-15 minutes for the food to arrive. The crepe was really good, and probably the best crepe I have ever had. The eggs bennedict was very filling and delicious as were the potatoes and fries. The slider was not bad, though it wasn't nearly as good as we had expected. If we happen to be around the area I would definitely come back!

12/20/2023Blue Daisy Melrose was a great first brunch in Los Angeles. When I went to visit LA, I wanted to have a unique brunch near my Airbnb in West Hollywood and thus was my choice to dine at Blue Daisy Melrose. When you go into building, you enter in a lobby which may confuse some but you can ask the front desk for the Blue Daisy Melrose which is straight down the doors. Blue Daisy Melrose is a smaller cafe with a central long rectangle table, 3 booths with vintage Hollywood star paintings, and a couple of tables towards the window side. The ambiance is rather dim lights, contemporary music, but had a nice lavish holiday decoration. The service was nice where the waiter recommended me the Zaatar Eggs & Sujuk and Turkish Latte. My drink and food came out really quickly. The Turkish Latte was very strong a bit bitter which was exactly what I needed after a very early flight from San Francisco. The Zaatar Eggs & Sujuk was hearty, seasoned, and perfectly spiced. The dish had spices and herbs that had depth but also had good palate cleansers with a side of avocado, cucumbers, and tomatoes. The Zaatar Eggs & Sujuk had a very nice palate balance which was pleasant. Blue Daisy Melrose was very different from what I imagined it to be but I enjoyed the food and dining experience!

If I could leave zero stars, I would. The service here is absolutely terrible. I called them 8 over 15 minutes times to get an eta on my order that wasn't provided and had to make a small change to my order...no one answered. Got here, said I was here for pickup, and she says to wait to the side. I mentioned the numerous times I tried calling and she replied, "We're busy.", then walked away. She didn't even ask for me name for the order. After waiting 5 min, I asked how long it would be and she asked if I was here for pickup, then for my name!? Got home and hoped at food would at least be decent. I ordered the eggs Benedict with sausage. The poached eggs were overcooked. Shocker. Such a sad display. I'll never come here again.

If you are looking for a great vibe, cozy interiors, and great food, Blue Daisy is the spot for you and your friends. The food was amazing and the service was equally great!

Sat down with party of five. Got waters and no one came back for fifteen minutes. We tried to be patient and asked for service, but it never came. We eventual left to go to another restaurant.
