The bad: They ask what side you want but don't tell you it's an extra charge. That was a little upsetting. They made it sound like the sandwich came with a side. The place was super good! Got the Liars fuego steak melt and it didn't disappoint. Perfect level of spicy. Will definitely get again. Also go the buffalo wings. Super good. We will be back.

Located by this little cool park in an industrial park just off Balboa, plenty of easy parking & inside & outside dining. Server Cory very welcoming and after a look over of the menu, we gave it a try. THIS IS AN AWESOME NEIGHBORHOOD HANG. Splendid Brew burger, nice size patty cooked perfectly. Prime rib french dip with horseradish dressing Awesome & killer onion rings... not battered with panko crispys but a smooth crispy batter. They're doing some happy hours & pride themselves on their beer selection and even are doing some events there. You need to check this place out, we'll be back !!

Just had the best burger I've ever had. The truffle burger and the lobster mac n cheese were amazing! Definitely would come back!

Went there a few weeks ago. Its in a decent location, although you wouldn't know its there if you weren't looking for it. Friendly staff, & Decent beer list, the food was just average though. Got the Wings & Rings, the wings were a little overcooked. Got the Imperial burger, it tasted fine, but nothing about it stood out to me. Evidently this is the place to go for sausage tho, so I'd return to try that.

First time here for dinner and it was AMAZINGLY delicious! This is a hidden gem in the valley. Easy parking and the staff super friendly. This is also a family friendly restaurant/Brewhouse. Must try the Nachos it was so good that I highly recommend it. The Beet salad with crunchy candied walnuts and creamy goat cheese was full of flavor. The Truffle Burger was super tasty and cooked perfectly juicy. Definitely coming back.

Friendly staff. We got seated right away. Lovely atmosphere. Alcoholic drinks and bar food with lots of TVs mounted everywhere. I ordered the truffle burger medium well and the meat was tender. The mushrooms and truffle sauce mixed together well. The onion rings were great!

Been wanting to try this place for some time now. Finally tried it today and unfortunately, it was a let down. The service was good for the most part. They were pretty attentive while arrived at our table and checked in with us during our meal. However, we didn't like our food. The brew burger was very bland and my meet party tasted burnt. My husband got the truffle burger which sounded amazing but also said it lacked flavor. The sides are extra and the fries that I ordered were served doused in oil so they were pretty limp. The onion rings were the only decent food item ordered. They were kind enough to remove the burger off our bill but for the prices that they charge for a burger, I'd expect better. Beer selection is alright. Overall, it's not the worst place but not sure I'd go back.

Shout out to Steven and staff @ Blue Palms Brew House for the hospitality and delicious food! I tried their Imperial Burger with jalapenos and a Liquid Candy to wash it down with. Man burger was on point! They have a list of frosty selections. Come check them out!

The food is excellent. The prices are comprable. They will need to improve their service as people find out about this place.

Love this place! I've been here about a dozen times now and have never had a bad meal. They have a great beer selection and very friendly staff. A hidden gem in the valley!

If it wasn't for Yelp, I never would have known this place existed. It's in a business park. There is a little grassy courtyard surrounded by several eateries. We were there for lunch on a Saturday and it was not busy at all. Apparently, Friday nights after work gets pretty crowded. The place is clean and comfortable and they were playing all 90s music (which I was enjoying!). 5/5 - Lobster Mac'n'Cheese: Lobster claw, cheddar, parmesan and crimini mushroom. WOW! The lobster and the mushrooms are NOT what makes this dish amazing... it's the sauce. That sauce is fantastic!5/5 - Hank's Vanilla Cream Soda4/5 - Wild Boar Andouille: Great flavor! The menu says "lean", but it is not at all dry.4/5 - Spicy Italian Bratwurst: Garlic, fennel, spices. It's not spicy at all, but the fennel is very pronounced. Great proportions with the bread and the bread was nice and soft.2/5 - Pheasant Sausage: Cognac, Port wine, spices, juniper berries. I was not a fan.2/5 - Smoked Duck Sausage: "Rich with Apple Brandy". It definitely tastes like duck. It has an Autumn taste to it. Interesting flavor, but we would not get it again.Obviously, 2 of the sausages brought the overall average down, but we were glad to try them. I will definitely return for that mac and cheese and there are several other dishes I'd like to try.

We headed over to the Blue Palms brew house after our brothers graduation from CSUN. Being a party of 12 we expected a wait however they accommodated us very quickly and efficiently with lots of space for us. The service was incredible, we had multiple staff checking on us throughout the night to ensure we were pleased. Our waitress Sugar went absolutely above and beyond and really is what made our visit 5 stars, she was such a joy. Overall the vibes were very nice for a bar. The pizza & "brew burger" are amazing if you're looking for suggestions

Tucked away off balboa, you have to go around the back of a business park to find it. We did not have a reservation and fortunately they were able to sit us immediately outside, which was great. Patio heaters, but be sure to bring a sweatshirt, the position of the building there can be a bit of a wind blowing through there. We sat for about 15-20 minutes before anyone came to our table, to which our server was super apologetic and did offer to get our first round on us, which was super nice of her... in fact everyone was super nice. We had time to look over the menu, so we ordered an appetizer and our meals and our drinks. Drinks took about 5 minutes to arrive, then appetizers, maybe 30 minutes.. after I flagged down someone to ask where our food was. Then our meal came moments after that. Food was ok, I ordered the truffle burger medium rare... and it came to me Medium well, not a bit of pink in it. You would think for spending $19 on a burger with no sides, they would know how to cook it properly, but I was not willing to wait another 30 minutes for a replacement. On their menu it says something about how they are a "team service restaurant" which sound good.. but there is no accountability, and I think the servers all just hope that someone else is taking care of that table over there. Great beer selection, great sausage selection, super friendly people that work there, but just kind of seemed like no one was in charge or was checking in that tables are being properly taken care of.

Met up with my friend for a late dinner. When I arrived I had a very friendly greeting from the servers. They asked me to sit anywhere I'd like. Once I was seated they handed me a dinner menu as well as a drink menu. This place kind of has a industrial motif, sprinkled with California Pizza kitchen/Meets Cheers. It seems as though I was sitting amongst a lot of regulars who displayed lots of smiles and chatting with the staff. This local spot definitely had a homey feel to it as well as a warm vibe. After looking at the menu via the website and also looking up some yelp reviews. My friend and I decided to split the truffle burger and the lobster mac & cheese. We ordered the burger medium. For drinks I ordered a Blue Palm instead of Ciroc I subbed for Malibu and my friend ordered a Ginger Beer. Both cocktails were delicious. Our entrées were big enough to share. Our burger was cooked perfectly. We both enjoyed the flavor however there wasn't a strong truffle flavor or a strong blue cheese flavor but I'll say that the combination of flavors made this burger a winner. As for the lobster mac & cheese - it was very rich, very creamy but definitely an entrée to share and was a perfect pairing with the truffle burger. We enjoyed this experience so much we both agreed to return to try the other signature dishes and cocktails. Plenty of parking. I would say the prices are moderate. A great place to meet up with some friends and share some appetizers as well as some drinks. Looking forward to returning soon.
