Visited this restaurant for dinner during a brief trip to LA. The food was delicious. We ordered Paneer Masala, Dal Makhni, Tandoori Roti, and Garlic Naan. While both curries were excellent, Paneer Masala stood out for us. Although the naan was a bit cold, the rotis were warm enough. Overall, we were satisfied with the service and our dining experience.
I came here for a quick snack because I wasn't that hungry and I love Indian food. I would say the food was just okay. Service wasn't great and the food was mediocre. Far from bad, but it just wasn't good, if you know what I mean? It wasn't worth it for the portions and the prices. The atmosphere was dark and stale, not in a cool ambiance way. It was just average. Pretty good food, I liked the Thali with Karahi Paneer, Vegetable Soup and Vegetable Biryani. The food is flavorful no doubt about it, goes to show how good Chef Patel is and he’s been in business for quite sometime now. Portions are good enough and I also liked that you could order the same Entrees as a “side” within reasonable amount.
