I love shabu and have been to "Bon Shabu" twice already. This is my favorite shabu restaurant when in LA. I say it is a "restaurant" because the attentive, friendly service, quality of food, decor and cleanliness are all five big stars! The selection of meat is very high quality including wagyu, and the vegetables and seafood are all very fresh. Beware of the appetizers as they all taste good. They have delicious Korean side menu; japchae, spicy pork, bulgogi, dukkbokki, dumplings, calamari, fried chicken, dukkbokkii, spicy crab, spring rolls, etc. and dessert! all time favorite shabu spot!

Shabu / Hot Pot is much about the experience. Bob Shabu's 2.0 ReAttempt falls super short of a great experience. Nobody wants to be rushed at a place where it's literally about the experience. Quality of food and all that sits out was subpar. 3 stars for good all you can eat deal , but "hurry up and eat all that you can, thanks very much" is the Vibe

I was visiting the area and decided to give this place a try. My whole group was amazed! The customer service was great, the environment was modern and clean, and the meat quality was A+++ (we got all-you-can-eat Wagyu). The only thing I wasn't a fan of were their dessert options, but everything else was amazing so they still get 5 stars in my book. I'll definitely be stopping by again whenever I'm in the area.

Wow! I Don't tend to write reviews however our server Sue was amazing and I knew I had to write a review. I've been coming her for over a year. The food is delicious. I usually come and quickly get a table. However if you every have to wait trust me it's worth the wait. Their are foods you can eat as appetizers or a fool meal. We had an issue with our pot. However She was quickly to help and change the pot quickly. The Hispanic male who pickup up the plates was so nice and nice to explain to my parent how to order. I swear everyone works like a team.

Service - 5+ Meat selection - 4 Veggie selection - 3 Sauces - 3 Carbs - 3 I really loved the atmosphere and service. Comfortable seats, clean...calm feeling as you walk in, friendly greeting. Excellent service throughout our meal. Friend and I are not big meat eaters, and I can't eat most seafoods due to sensitivities....so I stay clear, especially at AYCE restaurants. For $42, I really look forward to stellar veggie, carb, & sauce offerings...these were good not great. I didn't see a freshly cut fruit section. Few offerings of cooked dishes and desserts...didn't look appetizing so we basically skipped. TBH, it's not worth it for me to do AYCE, as it's better to just order dishes you love, enjoy it slowly and take what you can't finish to snack on at home. I guess once in a while, it's fun to do AYCE with your friend/s. Overall, it's a 4 because we had fun just hanging out and eating an early dinner at 5pm on a slow Friday.

This was my first time trying Bon Shabu at the new location and it did not disappoint. They've offered a lot more options to add to your base and even new sides that I did not see at the previous location. The service was great, the employees were on top of all their tables. Especially with these recent cold nights, you couldn't go wrong with hot pot. The broths have been changed, but for the better! They were so flavorful and they even added new flavors that we got to try. The restaurant is very modern and definitely well cleaned, the staff are always cleaning up!

Shabu is great for groups, and really fun though may be a bit confusing for people who've never had Korean hot pot (or fondue chinois!). It's a little expensive if you want just a little fish in addition to a veggie hot pot, and the music is *party* loud.. great for fun but could be difficult for some with older ears. We didn't try the sake but there looked to be a great selection.. maybe next time !Vegetarian options: There is a vegetarian hot pot option, and a small selection of veggie starters, as well as some great glass noodle salad and plenty of other noodles to cook, but the selection could be a little bigger (albeit there aren't too many proteinaceous veggie options in Korean food!).

I had a great time celebrating my birthday alone and the whole staff made me feel welcomed and special explaining all the ways to enjoy my meal. It was my first time trying hotpot and the waiter was so nice and attentive as well as the owner/manager. Even the kitchen staff and other employees took the time to answer my questions. The place is clean and the food is really flavorful with lots of options for everyone. I liked the spicy sweet dark broth option along with a cold beer. Make sure you show your appreciation in gratituty and telling your friends if you decide to come and enjoy your special day here the same way I did!

Food is fresh and service was great. First time and they explained how to cook the meat plus gave us tips on dips. Pleasant environment and was clean. Don't forget to get your parking ticket validated. We had reservations in advance so that helps.
