Their Google and Yelp pages list an industrial area and states that they are open . Update your listings so people don't drive out for nothing .

We went there tonight and there wasn't anyone around. The phone recording said to check the website for information. The area doesn't look safe at night so don't be mislead.

I'm from New England, though I was born in Trinidad and have always been quite attached to my Trini roots). Turkey Day is a big deal back East and it was my mom's favorite day of the year. She passed a few years back and I picked up the mantle, putting on a big "friends and family" feast for all comers. This year, that went sideways and I needed to find an alternative. Thankfully, I found Bridgetown. I ordered 10 roti (5 oxtail and 5 green curry shrimp), a jerk turkey leg, macaroni and cheese and an assortment of hot sauces. I picked everything up the day before Thanksgiving and all I had to do was pop the goodies into the oven (easy peasy) and wait (less easy peasy because it all smelled gooooood). It all tasted even better than it smelled. The roti were all on point (though I had a slight preference for the oxtail). The turkey leg was moist and flavorful. And the Mac and Cheese was flat out awesome. The macaroni was perfectly cooked, not mushy at all, and the sauce had just the slightest hint of heat. And let's not forget about the sauces. The lime pepper tomatillo was mild, but packed with flavor. The pineapple habanero and the pepper sauce both backed serious heat, but we're REALLY flavorful. I love hot sauce and the pineapple habanero was definitely among the best I've ever had. If you like trying different foods and you are looking for something a little different, give Bridgetown a go. You won't be sorry.

I tried this place a year or so ago at Smorgasburg. The roti wraps are really unique with a Caribbean twist. Definitely worth a try if you want something that you can't get every day.

Check their hours. They were closed when I went and after checking their website I saw they’ve been closed all of July.

The roti wraps here are unique to me, primarily because I personally haven't seen or experienced lots of Caribbean food here in LA. I ordered the:- Red Pepper Goat Roti w/ Peanut Sauce- Green Curry Shrimp and Potato PattyI really enjoyed these. The roti had a delicate outside that was able to hold the flavorful meat bursting with spices along side the other ingredients filling this delicious wrap. The shrimp/ potato patty had so much flavor as well. At first I thought this was pricey, but seriously I was so full and you do get a lot of good food. Well worth the price. Because you do order online from your phone and pick up along a not busy (at the time) street from the side of the building, there's really not much in terms of service or ambiance. I will note, however, the person who handed me my food when it was ready it was super friendly. And sometimes, honestly, I prefer little interaction when I just want to order food and take it with me. The next time I come back, I would definitely like to try the Mama's curry chicken. Or possibly one of their vegetarian options. Some of the other sides also look very tasty which I think warrants a return visit soon. I just didn't have enough room to try everything on my first visit.

Bridgetown Roti became one of my favorite pop-ups during the height of the pandemic, and the first item that made me a fan was their curry chicken roti. Now, this is not the traditional curry chicken roti that I grew up with given my Caribbean background, but the mix of the chicken and potatoes with fresh cabbage and cilantro gives it a modern twist that works. The curry shrimp was plump and not overcooked when I tried it the first time, and the pineapple habanero sauce has a spicy kick that is tamed by the fruit's sweetness.Generally, I would say the service is good and fairly prompt, though my last order was perplexing. I ordered the channa doubles that came with what looked like pigeon peas, and there was no notification when my order was ready (I ended up asking one of the employees for a status update when he came out with completed orders which turned out to include mine). However, the fried bara bread was fluffy, and I would recommend keeping a lookout for when doubles are on the menu. I also found that the shrimp roti was definitely better eaten right away then reheating at home.In spite of these glitches, I would definitely recommend trying Bridgetown!

Ahhhh! i love this place! Hard to find good caribbean food in LA but my folks at Bridgetown Roti have it figured out. I was able to try something new this time with their channa and sweet potato roti. Perfect vegan solution and the sauces are delightful. Also the sweet and spicy plantains have their own unique flavor that is unmatched. I've tried their curried yam and mango with coconut patty before and my friend got the oxtail and peppers patty which she devoured in less than 2 mins so safe to say it's delicious. The service was fast and efficient. I ordered ahead of time at their ghost kitchen. Now, they're prepping to open up a brick and mortar so I'm definitely dining in! Can't wait!!! Go Bridgetown Roti!

First time trying this place and I’m obsessed!!

I came from San Jose for the week to eat Trini food because I don't get Trini food in San jose and I came to the address and it's a different restaurant. I called the number I emailed many times and no response. What a waste of trip to LA. Wouldn't waste my time finding this place when I come back to LA

The food is delicious ?The price per-serving is too high for me to seriously consider buy again.? In the Caribbean, NYC or South Florida servings are huge & leave you happy & satisfied ?Your selections tasted great but left me wanting more, but the price was too high to buy more.I was not satisfied after the meal was done.I purchased doubles, the best patty I ever tasted & a Veggie wrap called a Roti for my daughter & I to share. We don't eat a lot. For over $40 we shouldn't have needed to go to another place for more to eat. Veggies aren't expensive to buy or cook.If you increase the size of servings let me know. Until then we will not be back. I will take the time to learn make your menu items at home.Vegetarian options: Excellent flavor but not enough.

Yum, flavor, yum, flavor. So much flavor and spices with layering tastes. Stumbled on this place boa and Instagram post. I had no idea it was part of those ghost kitchens in the arts district of downtown LA. The address is actually 672 South Santa Fe, 90021 as some links have a different address. Once you order online you'll receive an update, along with the address for pick up. Having an aunt from Trinidad I'm no stranger to doubles or roti. Now I won't have to drive 2 hours for the home cooked one when I get a craving, I ordered the channa wrap and yam pocket which were vegan. And then the channa doubles and pigeon pea with rice and okra. I couldn't even decide on a favorite, they were all so good. The wrap was big and packed with veggies and curry. The doubles were the so fluffy and tender and the seasoning and spices were out of this world. There's no questioning why the chef is nominated and a finalist for the James Beard award. Parking: street parking but read signs as certain times and days you can't park.Ghost kitchen: no seating area just pick up as Order only. Prices: $7-$16Call once there: once you placed your order you will get an update when it's ready, there is a sign out front with a number to call once you've arrive and someone will come out with your food.

Firstly, you order off of their website, not all of the pictures of food on Yelp are available everyday/all the time-I suspect because the food is FRESH! Ordering was easy, there is even an estimated time for pickup which was accurate to the minute. You drive up, park, call the number and they hand you your food. Ordered the Mom's curry as a wrap- $17.00. The roti- is light, flaky, not greasy, yet holds up as support structure to the chicken thighs, cabbage, potatoes with fried skins, cilantro, green and red cabbage, green onion and sauce. We ate lunch in the car and had no problem with spillage or lingering curry smell. The chicken was juicy and tender, not fatty or dry and had that beautiful curry stain as if it had been simmered in the curry. The fact they took time to give the potato with skins a fry gave the roti a depth of flavor and savoriness like there were chicharons in it or something. Every element included seemed so intentional and purposeful. Ordered the green curry shrimp and potato patty-$8.00 The patty dough had a subtle sweetness and a nice chew, it was light and tasted homemade- no greasy preservative or lard coating left in the mouth. The shrimp potato filling wasn't entirely smooth (a good thing) but has a little chew, some nuggets of something magical every once in a while. The patty had a slight bit of heat (not overwhelming) but probably too much for a typical chicken finger eating kid. This place was worth the hype. My partner- who claims to not like the taste or smell of curry- almost bit his finger off as he devoured the Mom's Curry wrap. Next time I'm in downtown, will definitely make ordering from Bridgetown Roti apart of the trip.

Wait: A ghost kitchen. The only way to order is on their website. Order early prior to things being sold out. As you can see, I took screenshots of the menu at 10 am and looks like many items are starting to sell out.Ambiance/parking: there was plenty of street parking. This street is safe but I do not recommend walk around downtown much further if you do not know the area and street safety smartness. Service: A server will come out evwry few minutes to drop orders off. I saw at least 3 different servers who came out so you know they are busy since you will see at least 5 other groups waiting in a 10 minute period.Food: Curry Channa Doubles are our favorite. Mac and Cheese: My kid liked it and the mr. said it was unique.Goat roti: Delicious but we are worried for our wallets.Piegon peas and rice: Tasty. I feel better about my health afterwards.Oxtail patty: very meaty. Really good. Sauces: hot sauces are actually spicy!Definitely an up and coming restaurant you should try. You feel slightly more adventurous with the uniqueness of the food. You feel social justice supporting a female BIPOC (pronunce each letter independently: Black, Indigenous, People of Color). You feel empowered and adventurous even though you order for pickup.

This is for complete lack of customer service. This place did not send any of the food for my meal. When I called, the guy on the phone could not have cared less. He offered me nothing but a refund, screw my necessity for food tonight.I would really have loved to try this food because of all the hype I’ve heard, it I won’t be trying this place again.
