Went there during the pandemic, it's really good but their spicy pork is my go to. service was good then and now. Parking is a bit small but other than that's it's great

This is probably the worst Korean bbq experience I have ever had. The previous time I was here, it was not bad, but now they have some weird self serve station and low quality frozen meats. Our grill was also cold and the servers kept throwing our meat on this cold grill. Gray colored meat isn't very appetizing. Grills also were not oiled. Asked for sauce multiple times and never got it. Also was disgusted when I saw the waiter drop a bunch of plastic forks on the floor only to pick them up and put them in a container for guests to use. Disgusting. Should have called him out. Saw him do it another time with silverware spoons. There are too many great places in la to try and I won't be returning here again. Better experience at Pigya down the street. I guess the servers were nice? But not really if they're complacent with dropping cutlery on the ground and not washing them. The food was shit tho.

Service sucks they focus more on getting plates organized then servicing you. This is my first and last time I had to wave down your worker for them to come while the grill is burning in my face ??

Horrible! Full price for a 8 year old is wild! That only ate 1 small plate of rice! Ridiculous. Server was rude. They add a 16% tip when you get everything yourself it’s a open bar and you cook your own food and still have to tip is crazy!! The sides had a hair just gross! Nothing compare to gen! Don’t waste your money here!!

This restaurant was fine until the bill came and the waiter illegally demanded that the 15% "gratuity" (wording on the menu!) added to the bill was mandatory and must be paid. This is illegal and could lose them their restaurant license. What other corners are they cutting? Trust is gone after that

My favorite K-BBQ spot in LA. The workers and all the staff are very friendly, thoughtful, patient, and caring. Also, the venue and environment is very chill and calm as well with live sports TV and music from Korean culture. Prices are cheaper and more affordable than every other K-BBQ place I've been to. Definitely a great choice for any friend group and family. Food is really flavorful and delicious and not too salty and fatty.

Idk what these are people are talking about, but this place always hits. The staff are so kind and helpful. Everyone's experience is different, but mine is always wonderful!

We provide unlimited grilling meat. It tastes good and the salad served as a side dish is also delicious. The staff are all friendly too.

Absolutely love this place for some authentic Korean BBQ! Bud Namu has become a staple for the weekend night outing with friends and family for various reasons. For starters the price is fairly reasonable, $25 exact for dinner time for their menu A option. However what makes this place very unique and worth every penny is their buffet selection of savory Korean side dishes. Some of this includes their house special kimchi and green onion pancake, macaroni salad, and their newly added Tteok-bokki (Spicy and sweet rice cakes). Additionally, what makes this place worthwhile is their friendly staff. Everyone that works there are quick to answer any questions and retrieve the food that you order. But the best part of it all, is that they do a great job at making you feel at home. All these different aspects mentioned give the ambiance of how KBBQ would be like in Korea, a place where you can gather to enjoy tons of delicious food, good laughs, all for a good price and perfectly casual, not like other KBBQ restaurants in K-Town that make it seem like it is a mere luxury and expense. Hope this review comes in handy for some of you trying to find a good KBBQ spot. I believe Bad Namu is the true staple of authentic KBBQ in K-town, LA!

A restaurant I stopped by during my trip to the western United States. Both the beef and pork belly were delicious. I like Korean food.

I ordered1. Bulgogi BBQ2. Marinated Beef BBQ3. Chicken Bulgogi4. Thin Slice Pork Belly BBQ5. Chicken Fried Rice6. Spicy Cucumber Salad7. Kimchi8. Potato Salad (3 orders)And paid $145.26 because Uber Eats is a thief, but for the food itself plus tax is was about $127.30It was worth it though, I ordered the same thing again about a month later, minus the Pork Belly. The Pork Belly really had no seasoning and was just lacking in flavor. It was a shame because pork belly is one of my favorite things to order. The rest of the food was delicious, the portions are very generous for the price, if ordering take out, the way that they ensure the food is packaged so there is nothing spilling is above the norm, they do include Banchan for everyone of those individual order btw. I highly recommend, I don't know about eating there since I ordered take out but taste-wise, definitely try it.

Bud Namu used to be good quality and Value! It has become just another AYCE Kbbq in Ktown... for the price there other similar places that are much better the meat, the Banchan, and the service is just average! When the prices were lower... it was a frequent visit... but now ... for about the same price I would rather go somewhere else! This place used to be super busy and crowded... not so much anymore as long time patrons have caught onto the price hike!
