Disgusting fish burrito gave me food poisoning. Other meals are horribly greasy. Never ever again!

This place is so good. But it’s extremely frustrating that they are only open 5-9pm 6 days a week, and ordering online for pickup is frequently closed due to high demand. And each of the last 4 times I’ve ordered a burrito it’s gone up literally $1 each time.Their chips are usually horrible and stale though, but salsas are bomb.

I live in the neighborhood and have heard great things about this spot. I went recently with friends to check it out and enjoyed some parts of the experience and other parts left me unsure. Most of our dishes were amazing - but a few fell short (fish burrito). Chips and salsa were $9 extra but servers come up and ask casually "do you want chips and salsa for the table?" without mentioning the up charge. Thankfully I had noticed it on the menu and asked about the price and they then did tell us. I've never been to a Mexican restaurant that charges for chips and salsa (let alone $9). At the end of the day - I would come back and try again! Cute ambience and the dishes I enjoyed I really enjoyed.

So... decided to try this place because we heard the food was good. We didn't stay long enough to try the food. Only tried bucket kept chips guacamole and salsa for almost $11 happy hour deal? Hhmm? The service was NOT good. We sat at the bar unacknowledged for at least 20 mins WE had to get their attention, yes the place was busy but there were plenty of employees walking around. Anyway to make a long story short, we asked for waters never got them. And then when our margaritas finally came, they were horrible, too bad for the bartender/waiter/who knows what more. Nope! We decided to leave. Payed $46 for non tasty margaritas and bucket chips. Not trying this place! We went to Anayas instead! Thanks guys! Work on your friendliness and service and cuida a tu raza tambien si?

My husband and I have eaten here many times over the past two years. We usually order the Nela burrito and fried avocado burrito, along with the horchata and their tres leches cupcakes. I have gotten fed up recently because every time we get our food, it tastes like one or more of the ingredients has been stored improperly in the refrigerator. I don't mean that the ingredients have gone bad, I mean they haven't been covered properly and have taken on the smells of the refrigerator or other nearby food. This taste has gotten more prominent over time unfortunately. I really wish this issue could get solved soon because I do enjoy ordering pick-up from here

This is a really nice spot to get some good food and drinks. Let me begin with the Quesadilla de Chochinita Pibil. This braised port is one of my favorite dishes with all the flavors slowly cooked to perfection. This quesadilla was on point from the meat to the lightly crispy the tortilla. I added some guacamole to each bite. Omg! my mouth was dancing in heaven. Paired with the Guva margarita was essential for this dish. The margarita was pretty amazing with a refreshing twist of tangy and sweetness favors. I really loved this margarita because it was not too sweet. It's a must try for sure. Next, my husband ordered the carne asada burrito and added the red sauce over his burrito aka wet burrito. He said the sauce was really spicy and over powered the burrito itself. So, I tried it and it was way too spicy for my tastebuds. I am sure the next time we go he will not het the red sauce on his burrito. For our dessert we decided to share the tres leches cupcake. It was really good and a good size. The whipped cream topping was really good with a touch of cinnamon. The leeches are on the bottom of this cupcake. we not really enjoyed it together. We had an amazing server on Wednesday. Good music and vibes when you walk in. Everyone is really friendly too. I want to give a shout out to our server for making our anniversary dinner special.

More authentic Mexican cuisine. We are far from the Mexi-Cali chains. The food is very tasty there. One small downside is the rather sober atmosphere without originality, but that is not the main attraction of this friendly restaurant: it is what ends up on our plate.

Last night my friends and I arrived here about 75 mins before they close with a large party; we inquired if they were sure they'd still want to seat us -- knowing we were a large group and closing soon -- but they said it was fine. As any reasonable person might expect, our dining ran over an hour, especially since even though we made a rez, they didn't seat us for like 25 minutes. When closing time came (we weren't aware) the restaurant started playing incredibly loud heavy metal to try and get us to leave right at closing. Something the server could have politely inquired about was instead made clear through passive aggression. Didn't feel great, especially when we're dropping a lot of money to eat here, and would have been happy to try and wrap it up if we'd known they were closing (or been sat on time.) Our server multiple times brought us pitchers of margaritas we did not order, one of which we sent back -- but still charged us for one of them. All might have been worth it if the food was awesome -- but guacamole was served in plastic to-go containers, chips were cold, and burritos were good not great. Really bad dining experience, especially for the price. Was overcharged by almost $60. Nothing quite like feeling like an inconvenience for eating at your restaurant. Next time just talk to us?

LOVE this place. We’ve been coming here for years!! And we actually are no longer living in LA but make a stop here when we travel through. Staff is always friendly, amazing food, and fun atmosphere. And do yourself a favor and get the tres leches cupcake. It’s to die for.

I was excited to try this place, but unfortunately left disappointed. The evening started by it taking over 10min for someone to even take a drink order. We purchased a pitcher of margaritas and they tasted ok, but there was so much ice in the pitcher that we barely had 4 tiny cups of actual margarita in there. At the price, that's a bit ridiculous. Then we got the bottomless chips and salsa. The salsa wasn't really our jam and didn't make it worth getting. Lastly, I ordered the beer battered fish burrito. Although it was battered, the batter wasn't crunchy at all. It tasted soft and doughy. It made the whole burrito taste like fishy mush. They may have other dishes that are better, but based on this experience I will not be giving it another shot.
