Way overpriced for the quality of food. The chicken ceasar wrap was dry. Hot food options were OK, nothing special.

I avoided the buffet food so I can't rate that. The Wolfgang Puck wraps were good - obviously overpriced, tourist pole and all. Outside tables had gorgeous views of the Hollywood Sign and LA.

I didn't even eat or purchase anything from here, but leaving a one star review because the employee cleaning the outdoor tables was so rude to us. We had walked through the museum and were enjoying everything so far, stopped at the gift shop bought a mug and continued to head outside on the balcony to watch the view of the sunset. We attempted to sit down at one of the tables outside, but as soon as I pulled a chair out the employee cleaning the tables in a very rude tone shouted at me that the whole section was closed, the tables had just been cleaned and were closed, and that I was not to move the chairs at all. He then told me I could watch the sunset but could not sit at any of the tables. I responded with just "oh ok." And If that wasn't enough he took it a step further by telling me I was not even supposed to have entered that area because he has roped it off to prevent any guests from entering due to that area closing down in 5 minutes. At that point I had just responded and told him I didn't enter from the area that was closed off, but from the gift shop area. Not to mention there were plenty of people all around us still seated and eating in the area. It seemed really pointless to be that rude towards us we didn't have any food and we didn't push it once he told us it was closed. After that I wanted to leave the entire museum immediately and we pretty much did.

We've been here many times but rarely stop to eat. Today the prepared food in the kitchen looked and smelled so good. We have the Egyptian Goulash, chickens smooches rice and a salad. With a cookie it was $22. Not great and not terrible on price relative to quantity and quality. Super convenient. Easy to pay with your phone and the view is spectacular. Not great cell service here so it's further encouragement to put your phone down and enjoy the views. Listen to the birds and feel good that you are above the smog of the city.

Everything was expensive, but I was glad they had popsicles to help us recover from hiking up from bottom of the hill on a hot, sunny day.

Unbelievably expensive! Food is priced by ounce so anything weighing more than a lettuce leaf is exorbitant! Avoid at all costs.

Food was okay and overpriced but did it's purpose of feeding a hungry tourist! It's exactly what you would expect from cafeteria food. The employees were very nice and there was outdoors seating to let you enjoy the view while eating your food as well!

Tables were wobbly. Very poor attitude from the cashier. Charged for a coffee we did not purchase. Out of hot food. Salad was good.

Worst cafe ever!! Cold sandwiches sitting in the fridge probably old too. I did not get to enjoy the observatory because of the food here. Do not recommend at all. Since this is the only cafe in the observatory better pack your food and come.

It's a lovely respite in L.A. I like that it offers a completely different type of WFH vibe. What's better than working/studying at Griffith Observatory with simple access to some Wolfgang Puck eats, plentiful beverage options, and a stunning nature view, complete with the Hollywood sign? A whole lotta nada. If you've tired yourself of working/studying from all different types of coffee shops, Café at the End of the Universe will offer you a beautiful change of pace, scenery, and energy. Just beware the potential spottiness of WiFi.

I took a group of about 20 seniors on a trip to this cafe. Prior to the trip I called and spoke with the cafe manager, Carl.He was very kind and answered my questions about ADA accessibility and the menu.Day of, our group arrived. Had a wonderful selection of pre made sandwiches, a delightful salad bar full of fresh veggies, as well as a hot bar with a very tasty shepards pie and a surprisingly delicious Mac n Cheese and I’m black, so that’s REALLY sayin’ somethin! (We know our Mac’n’cheese :)The entire staff there was so kind to us that I wanted to come back and leave a nice tip, as I only brought my company card and had no cash, but wasn’t able to due to our activities that day.So I am leaving this review to say a big THANK YOU to Carl and staff for making our trip a delicious success and accommodating our community!!

Went to this cafe and hoped for lunch. We had Mac and cheese note they weigh these boxes which was not clear. A member of our party has celiac disease and was bluntly told no when asked if there was any food for them. Which was a lie ? (see photo for one of the gluten free options). So thanks for being blunt for no reason. Treating a member of our party like they were being difficult rather than taking 2 seconds out of your day to help. Would not recommend spending your money here.

Great hot selection of entrees, soups, sides and variety of quick to-go items. It's different every time I go. Super nice staff, and you can't beat those views!
