First time there, and I loved it. You have to be there early. Good service and fast. The signature calic is great. And the sandwiches, wow!.

Habanero Calic Bagel so FIRE!!! Parking is located underneath establishment. Went in with no line but a lot of people outside and inside eating. A different way to eat a bagel. Nice spice to it and very moist while crispy. Definitely want to come back!!! SO

Haven't actually tasted a bagel yet. Been here for an hour and a half. There are people yelling at eachother and a staff member scolding customers with a bull horn. People are beginning to argue in line over who should be served first. Not a fun experience. Not a good way to start a day after a long work week either. My recommendation is to order online RIGHT AT 8am, then stay away from the door until you get your text.

This place was very hyped up before i went there but for me it was just okay. The counter staff seemed put out that they had to help me order and the wait to order and then get my TO GO order was more than 45 minutes. The butter is good but they were out of every specialty item on the menu.

Cashier was very nice. However ordering was very confusing. You had a line out the door. Then there were QR codes on the tables and another one for take out. Once we got to the front of the line we were told to use the kios to order only to go, after waiting in line. Then another cashier said they didn’t know who’s order was who and it was going to take a little longer. not the best first experience we were expecting. Bagels were good however not sure based on the experience we will be returning.

This is actually a ten star review but I had to remove five stars because it closes at 2:15 and on Mondays, and it always seems to be out of the stuffed bagels by noon. You guys are doing God’s work, these are some of the best things I’ve eaten. The tomato garlic bomb is exquisite and the entire time I was eating the habañero stuffed bagel I was crying with joy. I think I successfully managed to not make my pleasure awkward for other patrons but PLEASE extend your hours and have more stuffed bagels. ? I think the demand is obvious. I will be there so much more.Vegetarian options: There are a number of vegetarian options, including the tomato garlic bomb and garden sun, and the stuffed bagels, all of which are delicious.

I finally schlepped my over from the valley to Calic Bagel on a Saturday afternoon looking forward to a stuffed bagel. I was surprised to see a line by the time I made it over there, but I wasn't detoured, it was 1:45pm. I stood in line and slowly it moved. By the time 2pm arrived a man came out to let us know that he will be doing the doors at 2:15 no matter what. Some people left the line. He then announced that all the stuffed bagels were sold out and usually sell out within the first two hours (they open at 8am). More people left as I thought, "that's like McDonald's running out of Big Macs." Why would you ever run out of your most popular item? Exclusivity? I'm not sure. I was able to make it in and soon after the doors were shut behind me, locked and the sign switched from open to closed. There were about seven people in front of me. One lady took about four minutes to order from the kiosk. Then the couple in front of me ordered. Then it was my turn. By the time I touched the kiosk the screen was all wallpaper, no buttons. The girl behind the counter announced that the POS machine was down, it shuts off at 2:20. She looked at the remaining customers and let us know that the store was now officially closed. An audible groan let out and people were noticably shocked. Then the man, the one who made the earlier announcement, let us know that he'll be turning them back on for us. Relief filled the eatery. I ordered by bagels and schmears and left. The food was okay. I wouldn't go back for just a bagel. It's better than what you can buy in a grocery store but no different than Einstein Bros Bagels or Noah's NY Bagel. If they were to introduce a similar or competing "stuffed" bagel then I think the allure and hype surrounding Calico would fade fast and that would be that for them. So, long story short, unless you're able to make it there by 9:30am, don't expect their signature stuffed bagels.
