What a lovely establishment! Delicious, spice-rich food with incredible service (shout out to Mr. Nasir for the warm welcome and wonderful customer service!). In all, we had their vegetable samosas, zafron pilau rice, peshwari naan, chicken butter makhani, fish coconut meen molee, saag paneer, and mango lassi for drinks. The samosas: crispy exterior, piping hot and potatoey interior with flavorful spice, coupled with that amazing date and tamarind chutney! No words. True to their name, they don't skimp out on the cardamom, which wonderfully perfumes the zafron rice. Although heads up, make sure to search through the rice and pick out the cardamom pods or you're going to be punched in the face with spice intensity (speaking from experience...). My friend and I love spicy, so we requested just shy of their spiciest level for all three of our main dishes. That peshwari naan really heightened the experience with the curries, with its sweet and nutty filling counterbalancing the spicy and rich curries. As for the curries, creamy and flavorful. The fish was perfectly tender, and man, there's just something about coconut milk that just hits DIFFERENT with curries (in layman's terms, goes very well together). That saag paneer though: there's a reason why Indian cuisine specializes in vegetarian food. That's all I have to say. And the perfect accompaniment to all this rich, spice flavor bombs is an incredibly refreshing, smooth mango lassi. To conclude: just go, you'll enjoy your time there. It's a good amount of food, my friend and I were stuffed and had leftovers to spare. In terms of pricing, I would say that it's on the lower-midrange. We're definitely going back and trying out more from their diverse menu.

Firstly allow me to introduce you to their famous potato samosa that comes with a complimentary side of this immaculately sweet dipping sauce. However this isn't your typical sweetness it's something I like to call swicy slightly sweet slightly spicy. Definitely a go to appetizer on my next visit. However (refer to the image) all the food was immaculate! Perfectly sweet and savory, every bite was a match made in heaven along with the helpful recommendations from the manager himself! It is evident that this establishment along with its staff care greatly about quality/customer satisfaction. Fair warning don't order too much or you'll be taking home left overs!!!! (Not that it's an issue by any means.) and finally the ambience of the establishment. It is different that your typical Indian restaurant. Most of them are very cosy spacious and professional. This establishment is professional and cozy. It really makes you feel as if you're eating a meal at home. Also I highly recommend eating with your hands it makes the entire experience easier eating rice with a fork doesn't roll over well with me personally.

This was our first time at Cardamom Indian Cuisine and the food was AMAZING! I am vegetarian and my husband is vegetarian/gluten free. There were many, many choices for all of us! I had the Saag Paneer and it was the best I have ever had in my life! The level of spice was PERFECT! My husband had Aloo Gobi and he loved it! The staff was VERY attentive. Our servers were outstanding! We can't wait to go back!

Food was excellent and the owner was extremely kind. I came with a friend who is local to Montrose, and the location is so cute! We sat outside so we could enjoy the nice weather, and we had a lovely dinner here. Definitely coming back again!

Cardamom is my new favorite place in Montose! I actually had a dream about their Butter Chicken, it was so delicious! The service was outstanding! The ambiance is fun and energetic. I have eaten there twice this week! They welcomed our large party on Saturday night. We ordered a variety of dishes, including the dreamy Butter Chicken and Shrimp Curry. It was a festive evening! Today, I met a friend there for lunch and ordered the Butter Chicken Lunch Special! What a deal! Thank you to the charming staff for our lovely lunch!

The food was so full of flavor. I especially loved the juicy white meat and the sauce for the chicken tikka, and the saffron rice was also really delicious. Mixed platter was just ok, could be better. Garlic naan was soft and crispy.

Five stars for service alone. I had placed a food order with medium spice level, which was too spicy for us. The management/owner offered to replaced all of our food items with a mild spice level. Thank you very much!

My husband and I have been looking for a good, authentic Indian restaurant for a while now and today chanced upon the newly opened Cardamom - we need seek no further. The food is excellent and the staff friendly and accommodating. It's not often l'm impressed to the point of posting a review but this is a restaurant l think deserves getting out the good word about.

My husband and I wanted to eat some Indian food and we didn't wanted to drive far. We found this local place nearby us while searching onYelp. It was a great choice because we were able to eat new type of dishes that we haven't tried before. The owner who was very friendly and helpful recommended us a shrimp appetizer and lamb chop that wasn't on the menu. Both were delicious. I would definitely go back and order these dishes again. I did not really like the chicken vindaloo ; it had too much tomato taste. The owner substituted to lamb Masala for us. Both curry dishes were not the taste that I was used to though. My husband really liked the garlic naan and I really loved roti. I would definitely go here again and next time we're going to try butter chicken that the owner suggested
