Decent café for your matcha fix. I ordered the matcha rose latte, and I appreciate the strong, earthy notes of the matcha. Only wished the rose flavor came through more, but overall not mad at it. The strawberry matcha latte was fruity and distinctively nutty from the macadamia milk used. Overall, Chitchat is a cute little place a block away from the main bustle on Sawtelle, and a good place to do work or just chit-chat (haha) with good company.

Came here for the matcha chai latte and was impressed. The pastries looked tempting and delicious but it was just the drink for me today. Seemed like a popular spot as it had decent customer traffic the whole time I was there. My only negative is the parking. The designated lot isn't very large so you may have to park on the metered street spots which is what I did. Worth a try for sure.

I've taken multiple meetings here and love this chill and sunny spot. The vibe is welcoming and it's great to have the choice to work inside or outside on their patio. Parking is super easy as well.

a cute little cafe tucked into the corner at the end of sawtelle! not much seats for studying, as the tables inside are small with maybe 2-3 outlets. however its a perfect place to visit with friends after shopping around in the area! the employees are also so so welcoming and the absolute sweetest. i could tell they had a relationship with some regular customers strawberry matcha: 8/10 not a typical strawberry matcha. the strawberry flavor comes from the macademia milk they use, compared to syrups or fresh strawberries which i notice most cafes tend to typically use. definitely verh sweet; would compare the flavor to a matcha mixed with a strawberry milk. the strawberry overpowered the matcha at times. overall very sweet and wouldnt get for a typical matcha flavor rose matcha: 7/10 i personally am not a big fan of floral flavors, but if youre looking for something rose flavored, this is it! similar to the strawberry matcha, the rose flavor overpowered the taste of the matcha itself, and was a little overly sweet for my taste. overall, a must try if you have a sweet tooth! the flavors are really strong. i think ill come back and try the regular matcha latte to gauge the matcha quality itself.

Yummy in the tum, Ginger Turmeric Chai hot! This drink is a great pick-me-upper before the end of a work day (no caffeine after 4pm rule). Caffeine free but with all the goodies! Service is great, and super cute inside!

This is my second time here and I was so excited to get the drinks. I got the Iced Strawberry Macadamia Milk Matcha Latte and The Incredible Hulk to share with my friend. However I was a little disappointed this time round since the drinks didn't have as much matcha or flavor and it was more watery. Other than the drinks, the staff was really sweet and I love the vibes here. Even on the weekdays it's usually busy and people would hang around and do work or hang with friends. I would still recommend this place but I wish the drinks are more consistent!

This cute coffee shop is definitely worth stopping at. You may need to park a ways away but the coffee is worth the walk. The baristas were super energetic and funny to talk with. I got an iced vanilla latte and it was delicious. The menu has a lot of fun drinks that I would like to come back and try. Also the mugs, tshirts, and canvas bags are super cute and I may have to get some to rep this coffee and matcha spot.

Came here for basically two weeks straight in order to study for midterms. It was meant to be one study session and then I just couldn't stop coming back! There are only two tables inside so you have to come early enough to secure one. Something about the bench makes it so comfortable to sit on for hours straight - they do close at 3 so be weary. Staff is friendly and kind - nobody has complained about making any adjustments to my drinks! Through the span of my visits I was able to try a great deal of drinks - happy to say I recommend all of them! The quality of both their matcha and coffee is amazing, and they got the 5th star because I do believe they have drinks for everyone. The Matcha Rose latte is very good if you're looking for a little extra flavor that blends in smoothly but isn't overbearing - The regular matcha with cloud foam is also very yummy and while I liked the foam, I don't know that I would pay extra for it - but the SPANISH LATTTE? rocked my world and I didn't even think I would like the coffee they had to offer. I will say it may be a little inconsistent because the first time I tried it, it was perfect, and the second day it was lacking sweetness which I think is due to a different amount of condensed milk being put in. I haven't had it enough to really tell. There's breakfast burritos and a selection of pastries I didn't try. They do offer a banana bread and cinnamon toast crunch latte and other such drinks but they didn't really appeal to me since I don't like super sweet drinks, but again, I think it adds to the variety and these are very specialized to the cafe itself. Will definitely be back to study and possibly try the Strawberry Matcha!
