One of the OG street churros from east LA. It was raining, there were people waiting and maybe they rushed as middle part was not cooked. Please keep quality consistent.

I recommend the churros, NOT the fried plantains, it looked more like burnt banana puree!

We have been coming here for some time now. At first the food was good and prices were good. Of course everything being expensive they had to raise prices but I feel like their churros don’t taste as good anymore. Their chocomil though is really good! And their free cafe de olla on the weekends is great.

I just ordered some fried bananas, and they were over cooked, looked burned.

Great churros just the prices went up so much, but hey, everything has gone up, right?

#1 churro spot in SoCal!! Though it is a small churro truck it sure is mighty. I make a stop every time I visit the nearby Citadel outlets. I recently came right at opening on a weekend and the line was already growing. I got 2 dozen regular to share with my family and they went so fast! They are the perfect size, crispy on the outside but soft and chewy on the inside. Best fresh, but after being refrigerated and air fried... still better than most churro spots in the area. There is also the option to get drizzles/dipping sauces, but that just isn't for me. The original is best!!

Simply da best churros I've ever had in my life. Perfectly crispy but at the same time soft. Not too sweet. The lechera and cajeta fresa are the perfect dipping sauces. Forget disneyland churros. Don't forget to bring cash unless you wanna be charged a service fee for using a credit card. Parking is quite easy since this food truck is parked right next to an empty plaza. The atmosphere is popping because there's a string of stands and food trucks surrounding Churros Don Abel. Perhaps the best and most fun way to end a special night.

Great deal and fast service! We parked in the BOA lot and walked through scrumptious stands, to find these delicious churros.I ordered 30, afraid it'll take a while but my bag was prepped in minutes! I would def come back, especially for large orders

These churros are the real deal. If you want authentic Mexican style come here! We are not talking the super long soggy kind like at fairs n stuff these are the crispy authentic Mexican kind freshly made in front of you with lots of toppings to choose from. This is a very nostalgic snack for me since we always had these growing up especially with the strawberry jam. I don't come here very often but my dad was in the area and brought me some last weekend and it was the most satisfying. So warm feeling and finger licking delicious. Family owned, and very authentic highly recommend!
