I am unsure how I had never heard of Coffee Commissary before randomly stumbled into this location on my way to The Getty. They are, without a doubt, one of the best coffee shops in LA. The space is minimalist and chic, with beautiful pink accents. Their beans are thoughtfully sourced, and roasted right here in LA for over 10 years now. Went here for a second time and had the yogurt and granola. One word: DE LI SCIOUS. My sister gets yogurt and granola from pretty much every place that she tries that has it and this place has the BEST one. Who would have thought that a small coffee shop would have such great food. BTW, I am not a coffee drinker but my sister had the latte and said it is good. She said it twice in fact, so I guess she really likes it!

Came in on a Friday afternoon around 3:30 and there were very few people there which was a blessing because I was able to fine a great table in their small outdoor space. They do have a bathroom which is great and several seating arrangements, though most are geared for small groups (1-3 ). I got a matcha which was pretty earthy and I wish just a bit hotter. The cookie was to die for and really made the experience. Parking can be difficult because of the area.
