I tried the Crispy Hot Pancake at the food court and it was delicious! The pancake had a perfect crunchy texture on the outside, and the inside was fluffy and flavorful. The portion size was generous, making it a satisfying snack. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. I would definitely get this pancake again when I visit the food court.

I drive one hour with my 2 sons to get the pancakes and today we tried the mozzarella cheese pancake. It was so delicious. Best treat ever!!!

Still dreaming about this, and wished I got more! Great little stand for fresh hotteok and taiyaki (with custard!)

This is a nice treat! Order all flavors of Taiyaki, all were good, sweet potato was my favorite. Nice and warm, perfect when out on a cold Saturday with kids. Made to order, so you know they are fresh.

Super yummy! Best hotteok place in LA! They're the only ones that serve hotteok actually. Can't find other places selling. The parking is nice too -- they validate for 1 hr. Perfect to buy, eat, maybe hangout at daiso for a bit, and leave.

Delicious hotteok! This is the only place I can find in Southern California to get fresh hotteok (I usually just eat the frozen ones from Hmart...which are also good). It's a little more oily than I'd personally like, but that's street food! Location was easy to find.

The hotteok here is so good. Tried the frozen hotteoks at Korean markets and this place blows that out of the water. The outer layer reminds me of mochi and the insides are filled with different nuts and seeds. Amazing!!!!

I was on the hunt for the best dessert in little Tokyo and found it here! I got myself the sweet rice pancake with filling. I especially appreciated how fresh it was. They make it to order! It comes out piping hot and so delicious. Light and crispy on the outside with a soft dough inside and a gooey, warm filling. 10/10!

This place takes me back to early 2020 pre-pandemic when I was frequently traveling internationally and it was my first time visiting Seoul, S. Korea. During my trip in Seoul I was always seeking out cheap street food snacks and one of my top favorite is hotteok, a fried pancake-like snack filled with brown sugar syrup, nuts and seeds served folded in a paper cup. I haven't encountered any other places in LA that serves it hot and freshly made like this cart which makes this place a true treasure. They also serve taiyaki as well with multiple fillings to choose from. Overall, get the Korean street food experience by going to Crispy Hot Pancake. Get the hotteok as it's pretty authentic to what you can get on the streets of S. Korea.

Tried to come here on July 10, 2022 BUT IT’S GONE!!!! Asked a security guard and said they suddenly disappeared couple months ago. Still leaving 5 stars because I had a good memory of getting hotteok here a couple years ago.

The taiyaki here are very well made--I've tried the red bean and custard flavors on multiple occasions, and they've been on point each time! Sure, there are a few other places in LA that make good taiyaki, but they're all in Koreatown! Also, you don't appreciate a good taiyaki until you've had a bad one, unfortunately (I'm looking at you, Noble Tea in Sawtelle). Anyway, the REAL star of the show is the mozzarella cheese hotteok. O.M.G. So good, so perfect :') I actually don't even order the taiyaki here anymore since I tried this. You *must* order this one!

A HIDDEN GEM ITS SO GOOD!! joon posted about how he wanted hotteok so I immediately looked up places that sold it in la and was not disappointed by this spot! the sweet pancakes are soooo good but they have a lot of other options and I always crave it again as soon as I finish it. closes a bit too early for me so I can't have it that often but so gooooood

Tried the honey nut pancake and taiyaki (red bean and custard). Absolutely in love with the taiyaki. Eat them while they are still nice and warm! I'm particularly fond of the red bean cuz the sweetness was perfect and the filling also had whole beans in it(not completely mashed bean paste). The honey nut pancake is delicious too but I wish there were more nut in the filling.
