You're paying more for the aesthetics. They are gorgeous to look at, I just wish the taste matched the appearance. I got the large raspberry macaron. The frosting was too dense and overly sweet...almost like fondant. Fortunately, the tartness of the raspberries helped to balance out the sweetness of the filling, but that fondant-like texture was unforgivable. I actually took a lump of the frosting and was able to mold it into shape, so it might have actually been fondant The meringue cookies themselves were not bad--crisp exterior and chewy, light interior, but was a bit sweet for me and lacked any discernible flavor. My partner got the tiramisu cup, he found the tiramisu filling to be great, but the chocolate cup was too sweet. Plus, the base is just a massive puck of chocolate. Totally unnecessary waste of chocolate.

I don’t understand if people haven’t had an amazing dessert presented to them in their lifetime but after “amazing reviews “, driving 3 hours to this place, spending nearly $70 on 6 different pastries to get a good taste of the bakers ideas, I can honestly say Ive bought store desserts/pastries SO MUCH BETTER. All of them had that refrigerator stored taste . I seriously don’t know how she’s still in business. It’s unfortunate that it’s falsely advertised.

i’ve had their pastries a few times and each time they’re AMAZING. Always super moist and fresh. i’ve talked to both the guys and girl that work there, and they’re just as sweet as their desserts. The pastries are a great aesthetic instagram post too!
