This place was poppin on a random Wednesday night! There was about a 30 min wait til for two of us. The food came out pretty fast, the ramen broth was actually pretty good. It wasn't too fatty, nor was it too thick. It was the right consistency and flavor! It is pretty small inside the actual restaurant, it's literally a small hole in the wall. We sat in front of the bar and we got to watch them make the food, it was pretty cool. Pretty good late night chill restaurant if it's something you're looking for, just be prepared to wait. They do close a little on the later side which is nice, especially for those of us that have to work late.

Full size pork cutlet was very small and steak salad was underwhelming. The steak was over cooked and there was nothing good about this salad. Honestly the raw broccoli in the steak does not go well.

Hate to drop my stars down, but this is 2nd time in two weeks we've ordered to-go and received dirty bowls. Wth?!?! It makes me wonder what's happening behind the wall and if they clean and disinfect things the way that they should. The vegan ramen didn't taste the same. Something was off. Service has been a little weird lately, I find it strange that the last two times I've gone in and tell them I have a pickup they ask to see my order confirmation but two men(separate times)did the same thing and they didn't question them at all just handed over the food.

I have been to Golden Gai in Shinjuku in Tokyo and let me tell you that the inside of this place is designed to look EXACTLY like an izakaya alley like that. So needless to say, the vibe is great. And thankfully they were playing j-pop too. But most importantly, the Ramen was totally on-point. Great broth, tender pork chashu, and fresh-tasting noodles. I also like the insulated steel mugs they served the beer in. Great place. A must-try in LA.

Very NY-like when it comes to Ramen and the intimate seating situation. The flavor of the chicken miso ramen was impressive and tasty!

This location is definitely a must try. I love the vibes that this location brings. When you step in, you are immersed in a Japanese Market. This place is small and has a lot of foot traffic so be prepared to wait. There are a lot of food options, definitely something for everyone. Their ramen is delicious and definitely a must try.

This was my first time visiting this quaint eatery located in West Los Angeles. Inside dining can accommodate up to 20 people at a time and there are three types outside. The servers were so helpful and polite. They explained the menu and made excellent suggestions for my first visit. I ordered the Daikoku Ramen with seaweed. The broth warmed my whole soul. The ramen and combination of goodness that the amazing kitchen staff married together was as harmonious the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. My Godbaby enjoyed the spicy Ginger Vegan Ramen that had a wonderful flavor from its vegetable broth to the cornucopia of vegetable and ramen. The restroom needed some attention but wasn't gross. My guess was that the stream of patrons was steady throughout the day and was due for a cleaning. I look forward to returning to this sweet spot soon and often this year. They definitely get five yummies this go round.

Tonkatsu ramen 5/5 - this is still one of my favorite ramen places. The tonkatsu is so good here. It's very flavorful and portion size is huge! I never finish my bowl and always take it to go. Meat isn't that soft though. Spicy miso ramen 4/5 - I don't like the miso flavor in this one very much but my bf really likes it. We came on a Saturday afternoon and didn't have to wait to be seated.

I now go to this location instead of downtown. Not as busy and closer. The quality is the same and the staff is on point!

Terrible experience, workers cannot get order right for the life of them. Scammed me out of $100 worth of food with slop. Hairs in food, steak-less steak salad, and undercooked noodles all plague this terrible establishment. Dog food is better for its price than this place.

Workers forgot "steak" in steak salad. Additionally, I found a hair in the Pork Ramen. Everything is overpriced and is mediocre at best, especially compared to other restaurants on Sawtelle. Ambiance is mediocre at best. I installed Yelp for the first time and made an account specifically to spread awareness on the crummy practices of the crummy restaurant. Disgusting and lazy.
