My last breakfast here today. Sad! Nacho is always so welcoming as well as the other waiters. Food is always consistently good. Had 5days of meals here.

The hostess was not pleasant. I asked her a question and she was rude in her response. Bad service.

I substituted a waffle instead of pancakes with bacon and eggs over medium. The waffle came with whipped cream and strawberries. That was not what I was expecting. But the waffle was like it was pre-frozen, then warmed up in a microwave. It was horrible! The other guests were happy with their food. The wait staff was attentive, and the facility was very clean and comfortable.Don't get the waffle!

We have visited the Daily Grill multiple times when staying at the Westin LAX. We always look forward to a relaxing meal after our long flight. On February 26th, we arrived late in the evening after a long and exhausting eleven hour flight from London. We were looking forward to a relaxing meal at the Daily Grill. We were greeted by Eartha, who is always welcoming and inviting and she remembers us. She is always a pleasure to talk to. She is very engaged with all of the customers. She had the hostess seat us at a nice window table. We sat there and waited at least 20 minutes. We watched the waiters go from table to table, but nobody acknowledged us. The older waiter passed by us at least six times and never acknowledged us. He even stopped at the table directly across from us and chatted for quite some time without even a simple, I will be right with you. He simply ignored us. He must be in his 60’s or 70’s. We weren’t sure who our waiter was. After waiting 20 minutes, I finally got up and approached the older waiter and asked him if there is a waiter assigned to our table. He rudely said, “ I am your waiter and I am busy processing credit cards”. I told him never mind we are leaving. We left and went to the lobby bar to eat. We have decided we will never return to the Daily Grill, as a matter of fact we will probably never return to the Westin LAX. We are currently looking for another hotel with a decent restaurant to visit after a long flight. I do think the older waiter should retire already. He has waited on us in the past and has never done a good job. He is always tardy and never pleasant and has a chip on his shoulder. We have simply tolerated him. But the last visit was the last straw for us. He should remember us by now. We travel quite a bit and spend a lot of time at the Westin. Maybe he thinks we are local and not worthy of his time. I don’t know what his problem is, but to ignore his customers and then give attitude is uncalled for. He should be fired. The rest of the staff are quite lovely. Most of the staff has been there a long time and we see the same people every time. They too remember us. It’s unfortunate, but we will not be returning.

The daily grill located in the Westin is always a solid staple. The menu is diverse so there is something for everyone here. I come here for work team dinners and it does not disappoint. The staff is also incredible friendly. They are doing some construction at the moment, so it doesn't look as it normally does. I can't wait to see the space once finished.

We ordered the Caprese appetizer and some bread. The bread is to die for! We couldn't stop eating it. The Caprese was ok the tomatoes could have been better but it's not an in season fruit at the moment. I'm sure it would be better this summer. My friend loved the grilled avocado. We ordered a cheese burger and the turkey meatballs. The burger was great although they served the sweet potato fries with ketchup. I asked for a ranch or an aoli to dip instead. They brought a remoulade sauce.... Fantastic! The ranch was good too. The turkey meatballs were good but a little under salted but that's an easy fix. The server was attentive without being intrusive. Overall service was very professional and all seem happy to be there. The remodel is beautiful! I would definitely come again and it was nice to have a good meal before we had to head out for our event. I was very pleasantly surprised.

I ordered the Steak Diane. Three small filet “medallions “ served with mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus.Firstly, this was NOT worth charging $49. Dang! It ain’t Wagyu!Okay. The filets were pretty good and were cooked as I ordered them, medium rare. Big credit to them for that. The sauce was good, but I would have enjoyed twice as much (i .e., there wasn’t enough sauce). There were about four mushrooms. Need more.Asparagus was fine.Potatoes were fine.Server was attentive.Atmosphere was straight up diner style, which again, brings into question the high sticker price!?I’d eat here again … for business.

Still my all-time favorite trout almondine, as good as the first time. The bar area is getting a makeover but the restaurant was open, and drinks arrived at our table quickly, thanks to our professional server, Letitia, who kept us informed about our order's progress, and delivered hot fresh baked bread at a perfect time. I savored my Moscow Mule along with a tasty avocado/tomato/mozzarella caprese with thick slices of each with a tasty balsamic reduction drizzled on top. The mashed potatoes were perfect and a good choice from one of the several sides offered. We have eaten here several times when staying at the Westin before an early morning flight and are never disappointed.
