The café was fine like any other normal café. * But, I felt the desserts were overpriced. If you want to try Korean traditional desserts, I recommend getting a sampler instead of ordering the small portion of the pre-made plate for $13. I liked the vibe, and the staff was really friendly, but I'm not sure if I will revisit it next time.It seems like pushing tea as a specialty is good to attract foreign customers, but I'm shocked that a round of refreshments costs $13. I later found out that there was a sampler, so I didn't cancel the order, but I don't think it's the quality worth paying for this price..? It felt like an Instagram cafe that I would bring my foreign friends to at least once. Still, the staff were generally friendly.

The coffee wasn't too strong and the scent was rich, nutty, and delicious. I recommend the Iced Americano.

Cute spot for coffee and studying! HOWEVER - it can get crowded quick and loud. You have to get lucky or come early enough to secure both a parking spot in their private lot in the back and a seat next to an outlet. Overall Damo is a nice place to try, but I wouldn't say it's my favorite.Drinks- The einspanners are so good here. They make the cream so well. It's so sad that they're $10+ (incl tax & tip) though. They sell some pastries and desserts, but I think the drinks are more worth the try.Ambiance- From my visit, I thought it was too crowded. Almost every seat was taken.Parking- free private lot in the back, but it is also shared with other businesses.

I ordered the mango cream matcha. I expected a richer matcha flavour. It’s more like a mango drink with a light tea base. I still liked it a lot though. My friend also tried their sliced cake. I felt like it’s a little too moist and it would be better if the matcha flavour is stronger. The cafe looks really nice but there aren’t many seats. My friend said it’s usually pretty packed so maybe try to go there during the week. We went there on Thursday after lunch and there were 3 empty tables.

cute little cafe in the ktown place. not bad for a quick service. The vibe is very chill compared to other cafe. This place focuses on "tea" based drinks, so!

I'm a matcha nerd, and this is my favorite matcha spot in all of LA. The service is fast, kind, and thorough. The drinks are the star- creative menu and quality ingredients used. I was so impressed when the employees remembered me after ONE visit! They make such a point to make you feel welcome and loved. Overall, 10/10. I've never worked here, but it seems like a great place to study, as well!

I came here because I've heard many good things about this place. I got here around 4pm on a Saturday afternoon and luckily have gotten a parking spot in the small and busy parking lot that they have. The line was long and the wait was around 25 minutes. I got the matcha einspanner for $7.25 and it was probably one of the best matcha lattes I've ever had. Although the size is quite small, I really enjoyed the quality and taste of the matcha, and I thought that the sweetness was perfect. I loved the cream on the top, it really does add richness to the drink. They gave a lot of cream because when I finished it, there was still some cream left in the drink. Overall a pleasant experience, even though there's only a few tables inside, the workers were nice and kind. Will definitely be back to try other drinks!

I've tried so many coffee shops in the area but find myself comparing every latte to DAMO's.... despite this being a tea-focused shop, their DAMO latte tastes high quality and the use of agave as a sweetener is genius. I've been here a couple of times and have not been disappointed. This is my favorite place to get a latte. It's not too acidic, not too bitter, not too sweet, and not too diluted. They also offer milk substitutions. Parking in the plaza is free but can get filled up quickly later in the day. There is also an underground parking to the left side of the plaza as well as some street parking.

Staff were nice meaning good service. Ambiance is good too. Parking during day time is also great. Came here to check out their einspanner. Both green tea and hojicha tasted water down. The whip cream was good but not sure I'd go back here as their main part(drink) tasted too water down. :(

8/10 matcha latte 8.5/10 matcha latte they didn't mix it as well as last time :,( 9/10 hojicha latte Super good wish the cup size was bigger 8/10 strawberry einspener tastes like a melted strawberry ice cream in a good way decorated with a cute lil sprout :,) strawberry foam is really creamy and good Very yummy drinks overall! Pricey but definitely worth the drive if you're looking to treat yourself. It can get very busy! so be prepared to wait a little. There are a couple tables you can sit at, but it can be very loud and crowded so I don't recommend studying here but it can be doable if you have noise cancelling headphones. Overall, would come back again and try their other drinks!!

such a good matcha! was visiting from out of town and a friend recommended this place: so so good! i got the matcha einspanner, it was so creamy and smooth. the parking lot gets pretty full on weekends, and the inside of damo is pretty small - it's more of a grab and go place. overall service was good & got my drink in less than 5 mins!

I LOVE their Hochicha einspanner. Whenever I'm in ktown I always need to make a stop to this cafe. I've tried their strawberry milk and matcha and those are also delicious as well. The baristas are quick and deliver each time! If you go on a weekend it will be difficult to find a spot to sit at so I wouldn't recommend it for studying during those days. The place is mostly busy on weekends but weekdays are more chill.

Their cold hojicha is really flavorful and tasty. It's a small space but they have a few tables and Wi-Fi. During my visit here, the bathroom was flooded.. hope they fix it soon!
