My daughter recommended this place so we gave it a try. There was only a handful of people there… it was a Tuesday. We sat in the outdoor area. We ordered two different veggie pizzas and bread sticks (kinda pricey). There wasn’t much to choose from on the menu. The food was more like an appetizer size serving but It was delicious. I have nothing negative to say about the taste of the food or the atmosphere. However, the parking was insane. We parked directly at the curb next to the entrance of the outdoor eating area. It’s metered parking. We had to add coins every 15 minutes… it only allowed 15 minutes before it capped out ?. I’ve read others say it was an hour meter, well it wasn’t the day we visited. I set a timer on my phone (a ticket would have ruined my day).It was a nice restaurant. I experienced it once but I’m sure I won’t come again.

Some things on their menu are fairly priced, but other things make this a very expensive restaurant to eat. We ordered two pizza's and a salad. The margarita pizza was good, but the pepperoni pizza was awful. I don't know if it was the pepperoni, the cheese they used, or both but I couldn't eat it.We ordered the caesar salad and it was good, but the lettuce they used and the dressing were very different from any caesar salad I've ever had before. I wish they would have stated in the menu that this was their version of a caesar so that I could have asked what that meant. We got martini's with Tito's and they charged $20 for each one which is ridiculous. I've never paid more than $16 for a tito's martini and it's usually much less than even that.Their valet cost us $19 plus tip. Again, I've never paid that much for valet. Then to top it off, they charged us a "benefits surcharge." This extra charge was not listed on the menu, they just added it at the end without any warning. In my opinion that is taking advantage of customers. I expect the price I see on the menu to be the cost of each item, but it's not, they add a surcharge making the cost more than shown in the menu, and so we won't be back. I won't give business to any restaurant that does this. All expenses should be represented in the price of each item, not added later with a surprise surcharge.Overall, this is a VERY expensive place to park and eat for just ok food.

Food was really good. Had the Margarita and pepperoni pizzas with the chopped salad. Service was great, and a nice selection of wines and spirits. A little pricey, but overall great experience.

Before we went, I read the reviews to find out the largest complaints and prepare for them. But actually our experience was pretty much perfect. We didn’t have to wait much at all (15 min) when we arrived at 7pm on Saturday. This was lucky. The queue very quickly filled while we waited. Some reviews said hostesses were unfriendly—not true at all for us. Others didn’t enjoy their pizza. But we ordered the Sicilian and white pizzas and loved them. They were even good after they cooled down. You should expect a hefty pizza though! It’s not a thin crust pizza. Between two people we had two pizzas and the Caesar salad. This was the perfect amount of food. We also tried two non alcoholic beverages, a wine and a beer. The beer is shockingly good and you cannot tell it has no alcohol. Everyone we interacted with was friendly. The person at the counter who took our order stood out. He was communicative, accommodating, and welcoming. This is a place I am sure we will frequent ?We left around 9:30pm and there was a long line out the door of people waiting. Reservations are recommended.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options are available.

We walked in for lunch around 2pm on a Saturday and was able to get a table inside. The employee who took our order definitely recommends making reservations for dinner, but lunch you'll probably be fine without. Dinner has 2 exclusive pizzas!Parking is street parking so hopefully you find a meter! Otherwise I think there's valet. The indoor and outdoor seating of this place is amazing. Such a vibe. You order at the front and sit down with a table number (big fan of this). We ordered the Pepp (with a side order of hot honey) and the White pizza. These were AMAZING. Those first few bites out of the oven are heaven. Extremely gooey cheese, crispy edges and crust, and yet the dough is soo fluffy inside. Loved the toppings for both the Pepp and White. Pepperoni had a nice crisp to them and the White was earthy and refreshing. The portions are alright, but I could probably eat 2 pizzas but they're pricey.Probably my favorite pizza in LA!!Parking: Street parking with meters. I think there is valet in the front. There are also parking lots a few blocks up in Little Tokyo.

This past Saturday my friend and I showed up for a late lunch. There was a long line of people waiting to order at the cashier (as it was drizzling) and note there was NO hostess at the front when we arrived. When we finally got up to order (15 min wait) the cashier didn't make eye contact and seemed irritated that we didn't check in with the host (again, no one was at that post nor did anyone stop us from getting in line). The first time I dined here I had a birthday party for a co worker and never had to "check in" with any hostess. The cashier wouldn't take our order until we "checked in" with the host. The entire interaction was super distasteful and I actually wanted to leave because her attitude was horrendous. My friend was very hungry as she drove in from the valley. We had to wait for the hostess who was MOVING HER CAR FROM THE METERS (lol) before being honored with a flimsy number to be allowed to place an order (lol again) and then sat at a small table in the drizzling rain outside. Like other reviewers have already noted "the fact that we were pretty much ignored while we ate outside." rings true. I feel like this place is more about aesthetics opposed to actually cultivating an environment where people can enjoy their food. If you have to cram a party of 7 at small circular tables that are built for a garden it's going to be hard to enjoy the meal (my 1st time visiting). If your hostess can't be gracious to people who are new to your restaurant or they're unable to speak in a kind manner - don't have them greeting customers & taking orders. The prices are not adding up to their ordering system at all. I find it disappointing when an Arts District restaurant fails this hard. Ditch the cashier, implement waiter service and call it a day. Their chefs deserve better staff. This place is a hard PASS.

I recently had the pleasure of trying out the margherita ($16) and pepperoni ($18) pizzas here, and I was pleasantly surprised by their generous size and delicious taste. While the base of both pizzas is delightfully the same, the addition of four fresh basil leaves gives the margherita an authentic touch, and the pepperoni is just as satisfying for those craving a bit more zest. Despite initially being unsure about the size of the pizzas and whether they'd be enough to share, we were happy to find that each pizza was substantially larger than described, easily serving two and pre-cut for convenience. It turned out to be a delightful surprise, allowing us to enjoy a variety of flavors. While the beer options are unique, with a special mention to the 7 oz. highball glass pour for $6, I found a hidden gem in their Miller High Life bottle, offering a great 12oz value at just $5. It's a fantastic option for beer lovers looking for a good deal. Comparatively, while nearby breweries and restaurants offer standard beer sizes, the charm of this place lies in its unique offerings and the cozy dining experience. The pizza here is a must-try for anyone looking for a tasty meal that's great for sharing, and the Miller High Life bottle comes highly recommended for an affordable drink option. A visit here promises good food, good drinks, and a good time.

I ordered the margherita pizza ($16) and pepperoni pizza ($18) the ONLY difference between the two are 4 basil leaves on the margherita, the base is completely the same. If you take off the 4 basil leaves and the pepperoni on the other, the pizza is exactly the same. Also, we wanted to share the pizza. We asked the waiter how big their pizza servings were b/c we wanted to share and it was described as being 1/4th of the menu size, the waiter said we'd need to order 2. Well. That was a lie. Each pizza is about 1/2 the size of the menu (double the size of what they said) and it also comes out cut in half FOR SHARING. So they cheated us into ordering more than we wanted. I also want to note that their beer is served in a 7 oz. highball glass...not a standard beer-size glass. It's a very small pour for the $6 they charge. Since it's not even filled up to the top you're probably only getting 6 ounces. So basically, don't order their draft. I recommend ordering the Miller High Life bottle option which is 12oz for $5. You'll be getting twice the amount of beer for a buck less. Just for comparison. If you head to any of the breweries nearby, Angel City, Arts District Brewery for example (heck, even ANY of the restaurants nearby), they serve you a standard 16 oz beer glass for $8. What this place charges for a 6oz pour is criminal. Makes me wonder if they serve a glass of wine in a martini glass. If you want a good pizza this place is a hard pass. If you like the more doughy-style pizza like this place go to Prince Pizza instead (just down the street a bit, it's a 90-second walk from this place), they're the same style as this place but worlds better. Better than that, I highly recommend Propaganda Wine Bar. They make the best margherita in all of Downtown and it's also a 90-second walk from this place. They always have happy hour going on for generously long lunch hours and their margherita pizza is only $14. It's sharable (it's QUITE large actually), they also don't just put 4 basil leaves on top of their cheese pizza and call it "margherita pizza" like this place does. This is the laziest pizza joint I've ever been to for the most expensive price.

Atmosphere was amazing but the pizza was beyond average. I wouldn't come back for pizza with prince st pizza down the street. It's just not very good even. The music is amazing and staff was friendly.
