Buffet items are small but all are delicious. Sever Steven was super attentive. The hostess was really kind. Attend brunch.Went on a non-holiday weekend. Didn't feel busy. The environment felt relaxing and of course the view was amazing. Took my dad, he normally isn't one to admire the scenery but he really liked it. Will be pricey but the staff really go above and beyond to help with your experience. Will probably go for special occasion again

A friend was visiting from out of state so I brought them here. We were both amazed with the view and the brunch buffet. Now, the brunch buffet is really pricey, however it's worth it since the view is one of a kind, the service was great, and the food selection was wonderful considering it was just brunch. I see it as an attraction and justify spending the brunch price for the experience. The food itself was extremely high quality and the variety was great. My favorite was the garlic soy salmon. Lots of sashimi (very fresh too!), seafood, western breakfast plates, meats, desserts, you name it. I was pleasantly surprised and will consider going back again!

Food is okay, not extraordinary. Some items such as scrambled eggs, croissant, veggies were out. For a hotel restaurant the variety is not sufficient. Service is okay; but they force you to pay $30-40 for tip already printed on the bill. That strategy is really a no-no, people who attend these kind of places will give you a tip but don't force them with a standard tip you want. My rating would be a 4 star if this tip issue wouldn't exist.

I had a wonderful experience here. I don’t usually do buffet brunch but I was really impressed by the quality of food and cleanliness. The made to order omelets were lovely and the pancakes were fresh. I loved our waiter Ray! He was amazing and made our visit here great. Definitely a place to check out.

We weren't complaining - we thought this place was good. It was busy-busy with patrons from the hotel; some loud rude people talking on their phones on speaker. We had really healthy lunch here with a chicken salad while my boyfriend opted for his favorite dish, lasagna. Our visits to the breakfast buffet allowed us to build our own personal plate filled with greens, lox, bagel and all the toppings. My boyfriend had made to order omelet. We sat at the bar in the mornings. The bartender was fun to chat with once he arrived. It took a while for someone to show up but once he did, our glasses stayed full. The view here is like an ever-changing picture over looking Los Angeles. Love the magnums of Veuve as we walked in.

I actually love this restaurant and have been there twice. The brunch is fabulous. The presentation and food selection is very impressive. Everything was cooked to perfection and very delicious. However, I am only giving it a three star rating because of the disrespectful hostess (Bernice) who was extremely rude to myself, and my two friends who were treating me for my birthday. We arrived at approximately 10:55 am, and she rudely told us that the restaurant was closed. She said that it would open at 11 which was only five minutes before we got there. When when they opened 5 minutes later at 11 o'clock she seated another group before my friends, and I who were there in line 1st. When we brought it to her attention that we had been waiting in line before the group that she seated she was very irritated and extremely rude to us so much that one of my friends wanted to leave. I talked her into staying and not letting the hostess upset us. Fortunately enough, we went on to have a very nice brunch and was waiting on by a very nice and professional man I can't recall his name, but maybe Tony who turned a negative earlier experience into a delightful brunch, after all. We did complain to Management about this very rude woman.

Dropped by for breakfast on the 69th floor of the Intercontinental Hotel and feasted on all the food I could get my hands on. And let me just say, there are some great selections to choose from! THE FOOD ELABORATION. - The omelette station offers fresh ingredients and they have a few skillets going at the same time so the wait isn't too long. - I liked the assortment of cheeses and cured meats and probably spent too much time here. - Fruits are plentiful and ripe. Add a little yogurt for some contrasting tartness. - Pastries are perfectly portioned so you're not loading up on too much carbs. - There's pizza/quiche station which was interesting. The quiches are great, the pizzas, not so much. - Smoked salmon and cold eel are offered for the seafood lovers. Both are pretty good. THE DRINKS DRUNK. - They offer a drink station so we filled up on juices such as grapefruit and orange. We also had a carafe of coffee at our table. THE VIBE EVOCATION. Modern, bright, and airy. The views of downtown LA and beyond were mesmerizing. Grab a table next to the windows and then get your ass up to raid the buffet. Speaking of buffet, the food counters were kept clean and stocked! Special shout out to the staff who were all very attentive and accommodating to my ridiculous request of sitting in the smaller dining area where they re-assigned someone to wait on us. THE PARKING AFFAIR.Parking is valet only. If you're staying at the hotel, overnight parking is $51. You can find cheaper parking near the hotel. THE RESERVATION DETERMINATION. Reservations are recommended, but we went on a Friday morning (about 9:45) in June and there was hardly anyone around. We may have missed the breakfast crowd. They do close from 10:30 - 11:30 AM to prepare for lunch, so make sure you get in before "changing of the guards."THE RETURN QUANDARY. I'd come back to try some of their menu items! I loved the vibe and the views too.

Where do I begin? None of the food was labeled so you had to guess at what you were getting. The cheese was so dried out it was inedible. The hot foods were ice cold. There were NO cinnamon rolls as listed on the menu. They posted their hours until 2:30, not only here but also directly in front of the restaurant, but had cleaned up half of the food long before then. I went looking for coffee at 2:15 and there was none. So I had to go spend money in the coffee shop after I had already paid for a meal that was supposed to include coffee! What's worse? The price is wrong! They took my reservation for a $50 buffet, but then charged me $55. And then charged an 18% service fee when the food stations were not even serviced. I had to go back twice before I could find anyone to slice meat and three times before I could order an omelet! And I paid an 18% service fee for that! To add insult, they provide a line for you to give an additional tip! Appalling! And if you do not already know, this restaurant is in a hotel that is a nightmare. Give yourself extra time for the elevators! And, if you have dizziness issues, they do NOT even attempt to accommodate! They always try to get you to take a spiral staircase. And, for most of their restaurants, they make you take a glass elevator if you cannot do the spiral staircase. They absolutely will not accommodate you even though the normal elevators even have a button for those floors. They just don't have the elevators turned on for those floors. This is the only restaurant in the hotel that someone with dizziness issues can consider because you can take a normal elevator there and you don't have to walk across a bridge or glass. The hostess was very nice about giving me a table that did not further set off my dizziness.
