The waitress kept calling me an idiot and the cooks in the kitchen seemed to be preparing food without gloves. The food seemed okay.

This is the ramen shop to which I compare all other ramen shops to in Los Angeles. As someone who lives in DTLA, I've tried so many but I keep coming back to this one. Their broth is so rich and the pork is always so perfectly cooked. Service is always snappy and the ambiance is nice and quaint as it's a small spot; has a very neighborhood-y vibe.

$16 ramen nowadays is an incredible price point and DTLA Ramen does not skimp on the quality. It's a pretty good portion sizes and either $4 for more noodles and $5 for more soup. Their gyoza is also made fresh in house and a bit pricey for $12 but is delicious. The cocktails and drinks are also wonderful - and all of these things have fantastic discounts for their daily happy hour, which id highly recommend. The restaurant doesn't have a ton of seating so don't come with more than a group of 4. Otherwise the restaurant is very nice and clean, plus the ramen bar is great for eating alone. The servers are very kind and speedy with lots of great tips and recommendations. Parking can be difficult, but that's how it is for downtown, so plan ahead.

hands down the BEST ramen in all of LA especially for vegans! the spicy creamy vegan and impossible gyoza can't be beat! even the non-vegans go crazy for the spicy creamy vegan ramen. plus, Lala, Sarah and the whole staff are incredibly friendly. wish i could give this place 10 stars.

Come here! I go here regularly and I'm obsessed with this place! Ramen so bomb and I always get the Chicken ramen or the Spicy pork. I don't go to any other place for Ramen and the lady who is the manager with the tattoos , nose piercing is always top tier to me! This place always friendly, crew is great and food Is amazing ! You won't be disappointed !!!!

The best vegan ramen I've ever had! We popped in here on a rainy day & it was pretty busy. I had the vegan gyoza & spicy creamy vegan ramen. I literally had to confirm the gyozas were vegan, they were so juicy, tender & a decent size. The ramen, however was the winner. The broth was creamy, spicy, & just all around delicious. We also added shiitake mushrooms. Ambiance is very casual. I can't wait to come back!

Great place for Vegan ramen! Small and cozy atmosphere, quick service and delicious ramen! The Spicy Creamy Vegan is very flavorful and enjoyable. Also got the impossible Gyoza (didn’t get a photo) but my husband loved them!

Although it's a small place the food was good. Service was on point. It was clean. There is parking lot across the street but it's a bit pricey. Definitely a place I will be coming back to.

Spent over $40 dollars to have spicy ramen delivered and I got a half full bowl, next to no onions etc and absolutely no utensils. Come on no chopsticks!! Never again! Sooo disappointed and I really was excited about this as I'm not feeling well and ramen is always a nice cure for a cold!

I had an extremely unfortunate experience here. I came here with my mother to show her one of my (formerly) favorite restaurants, when we were rudely greeted by a waitress with black hair and bangs, who was clearly peeved we were there in the first place. She informed us they close in 20 minutes, but we could still be served- this is where she should’ve just said, ‘we’re closed’. We ordered food within 3 minutes of sitting down, and immediately after our check was brought to us. $50 later, she consistently treated us with distain and contempt. Stared me down while I ate my ramen like I had committed a heinous crime… about halfway though our food, that we took no break from eating, she came up to us and told us they were closed and we had to leave. I’ve worked as a waitress and I’ve never seen anyone treated like that in an establishment. Rude, rude, rude. She clearly dislikes her job, and even more so the customers. I’ve never been treated so poorly. I’m extremely disappointed and won’t be coming back.

Favorite Ramen! Haven't had anything that come close to being as good! Spicy creamy ramen is where it's at!

It was 1 o'clock on a bustling weekday, accompanied with a sprinkle of rain, when I, along with my merry band of 6 coworkers visited DTLA Ramen for a quick lunchtime bite. There's a lunch special deal for 1) Ramen 2) Appetizer and 3) Drink for $22.95. My eyes locked on the Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen, a sidekick of crispy gyoza, and a Lychee Green Tea for my drink! The star of my lunch was the Lychee Green Tea! I first jumped at the fact that they had a lychee-flavored fruit drink, which set my heart afluter since it's my favorite fruit of all time. Why not give it a go? I was delighted I did as it did not disappoint at all! My picture-perfect ramen was also springy and chewy just like how I like my ramen. I couldn't resist the temptation to add an egg for an extra dollar - it was a small price to pay for the perfect soft-boiled egg. Admittedly, the portion was too big so I had to take most of the ramen home to enjoy...but hey, I am a huge fan of leftovers! In the end, my coworkers and I left as a happy bunch. Until we meet again, DTLA Ramen, I'll be back for more!

All the meat was inedible. It was straight fat and super tough. Broth was fine but would never come back.
