The service was mediocre. The employees seem like they don't want to be serving customers. Mediocre food, and they have limited time signs. They don't even give a soda to take away without charging. The beans very badly cooked. The tacos with a large piece of chicken no more stuffed into a cold tortilla. For all we spent in money the service and food was not worth the cost. I do not recommend this place

Wow!!! I randomly stumbled across this place because I was fed up w traffic (LA people know what I'm talking about). Pepper Steak w Fries was unbelievable! I've had my share of great steaks but I literally used my fork to cut it up. That speaks to the quality of the meat. Homemade tortillas were thick like a pita which blew me away. They soaked up that mushroom pepper sauce to perfection. Apparently this place is under new ownership and the Chef knows his $H!T...he came out talked to me and told me he has been here less than a year. I cant speak on the rest of the menu but what I ate was amazing! Beer and wine too. Ignore that Pico Blvd. traffic and treat yourself to a steak and beer. I rarely write reviews as you can see but this place deserved one. Enjoy

Garcia's Moms Place (NEW NAME PENDING)The food is just like home. It is a cosy family place. Everything served was amazingly fresh. This is the Soft opening. The Chef knows his stuff!!!!! The sampler started with a grilled chicken salad. The dressing is homemade and to die for. It is fresh, clean and flavorful.. The carnitas with undertones of cumin served with yucca, leaves you craving the next bite.Roast beef tender, melts in your mouth, it is covered in a light peppery mushroom gravy that is nothing short of Perfection, accompanied with creamy scalloped potatoes.... I regret I only have one stomach. I also was lucky enough to have pupusas. They had perfect stuffing to masa ratio. Everything sampled was stunning. NEW FAVORITE RESTAURANT!!!!!!

Had this place recommended to me during my trip to the area. Sat on the outdoor patio seating which was nice. Free chips and salsa is always appreciated. I got an chicken enchilada and taco combo, seemed like mostly cheese and not enough chicken. Just ok although maybe I should've tried something else
