I usually have El pollo loco 2-3 times a week & leave with a pleasant experience at El pollo loco restaurants but this locations manager is rude, clueless when it comes to company protocol. Worst customer service ever. I show up at 8:58pm Sunday night the doors are locked. The employee's see me standing outside. They all choose to ignore me. They all still don't have the decency to come to door. I call the store for the manager to wait til after 9:00pm to answer the phone to then tell me the diner closes at 9:00pm. That was news to me. Never going back to this location.

You're kinda forced to use the kiosks. And alot if the people are slow on it. Only one employee was trying to help. It could kind of chaotic. Not to mention how long the line got. And how impatient people became. Very frustrating. The employee that helped was very nice though. He was very helpful. Just couldn't helped everyone all at the same time. Cause he was also the one getting the bags together and calling out the numbers. Even that got confusing. He almost gave me the wrong bag.

Google says they are open until ten. At 9:20 I walked past cars ordering at the drive through through an opened door into a restaurant filled with people and walked up to the counter to order, and at 9:23 was told "we are closed" and was not allowed to order.

This location NEVER gives you the right chips. I ordered large with queso. Why do I always get small? And where are the chips that come with my burrito? To be clear I just counted, there are 8 chips in this bag, how am I supposed to eat all this cheese?

Tonight 02-26-24 I went with my cousin around 7:30 pm to get some food. I placed my order in the screen and didn’t realize I didn’t get a receipt. The lady lady giving the food to customers gave my food to another customer and the guy came back to tell her that wasn’t his food. It was mine and instead of saying “I’m sorry” she blamed it on me for not having my receipt. She even went farther telling me “I won’t give you the food”. I told her to “calm down” and she kept going over and over. I never in my life was treated like that; specially when I was getting a service. I was ashamed in-front of other guests. The lady was rude, unprofessional and mad. Honestly, in my life I’d return to this place. Food is lovely but service the worst I’ve ever got.

I have given up on this place. Food is hit or miss. Quality check on orders lacks big time, they'll serve you overcooked burnt chicken.
