Great place to get Mimosas. The food is ok but the drinks are better. LOL The service is good as well. I've always been treated well in Escala.

First off, this place is so cute!! Very nice setup, my boyfriend and I were introduced to it by our friend who is pictured below with the mimosas (I hope he doesn't hate me for posting this haha but he just shows how happy this place will make you!!) Second, bottomless mimosas??? Yes please!! This is such a fun place to do bottomless mimosas, the servers were so nice. We originally wanted to sit in the sun but then we got too hot and they were so okay moving us and they were so conversational and nice, it was amazing. And last but not least, the food! So so good. I absolutely see why my friend loves this place. I will definitely be back when I visit LA again.

Nice atmosphere. Food is good. They have 90s music playing in the background with TVs showing old school music video. There is a house DJ if you go at the right time.

Colombian food that has nothing to do with Colombia, everything is not fresh, on the paisa tray the plantains were overheated, the meat was full of fat and a horrible arepa with a very ugly chicharron. I do not recommend this place to eat.

I was looking for a good happy hour in Koreatown. Escala seemed like a good choice. It's a really cool place. Nice airy atmosphere....kinda' indoor outdoor feeling. Nice vibe. There's plenty of seating. Not sure about the parking because I was afoot. Our server was very pleasant. It's a great place to have a chat and a bite after work, that's for sure. We ordered from the HH menu. Here's what we had: 1) Street Corn ($6) for one piece of corn cut up into three pieces. Very good, although it was cold. 2) Chicken Wind ($6) two chicken wings. Nothing special but OK. 3) Kimchi Empanada ($3). My favorite of what we ordered. 4) Beef Empanada ($3). My friend said it was good. Well drinks are $7 on the HH menu. I had a Slow and Low Old Fashioned. $7. It's pre-mixed and it's a small pour. It's way too sweet but again, they are pre-mixed so that's how they are. Definitely worth checking out for HH in Koreatown.

This place has a great vibe, with dim lighting and music playing in the background. The windows open up to give you an outside patio feel while being inside. I had the sangria which was delicious. The empanadas were amazing. The customer service was on point. They also have happy hour from 4pm-7pm. Great spot!

When for brunch and had the chicharrón and guacamole, chilaquiles de pollo and endless mimosas mango and chile. Was pretty bomb and lived the environment. Our waiter was great as well, dude was very hospitable.

THE BEST CHICKEN AND WAFFLES I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! I went here for brunch with a group of people. I ordered the Spicy Chicken and Coconut Waffles dish. Everyone else ordered what they ordered. My food looked and tasted good as can be and I KNOW everybody else food was delicious too because EVERYTHING on the table looked good. Now when it came to the chicken wings, I can honestly say that my mans got the bigger pieces of chicken which were thick and juicy and my girl got the skinner version of the wings. That's not cool. But he and she said that nevertheless, it was seasoned and delicious.Awesome place and the bottomless option is amazing! CHEERS!

My friends and I loved this restaurant! Great music, service, restaurant decor, food presentation, and taste! We ordered ceviche, yucca fries, empanadas, sancocho, and calentado - everything was delicious!

Solid place with polite service. The kimchi rice empanadas were really good. Colombian beers and pops were nice. Enjoyed everything about it including the old school hip hop soundtrack going on.
