“I only write reviews when I am impressed by a place or let down. I didn't think that I would enjoy this burger as much as I did. We went there specifically for the Big Mec and it did not disappoint. The sauce was so flavorful and the burger was perfectly cooked. I'm not a big burger person, but I LOVED it! Even though it is on the pricer side, it is definitely worth it! We went on a weekend, and though the place was packed, the service was really good and we got our food fast. It is a smaller place, but it is very cute and you can watch the chefs cooking your food. It is definitely something you should put on your list!“
“First time ever in this Balkan type of restaurant.My friend and I arrived around 7PM PST ish...No crowd.Didn't have to wait to enter nor seated.Pretty quickly we got provided a menu,I truly did not appreciate the food like my friend did, but the waitresses were super quick at serving the food, bringing you your drinks, asking if anything else was needed, if the food was OK.Did I answer THAT question?I don't recall, but I don't think so.My friend did.Will I ever go back to this restaurant?Hum.. giving that I live 90 miles away from Culvert City, CA, the chances that I do are very slim.Do I recommend the place?I plead the 5th on this one.But I'll say this though in their defense: the food is not bad.I leave the good part to you all, or you'all.“
“Located in South Pasadena, Nicole's is a French bistro and market stocked with a variety of French specialties and gourmet foods. The local gem has ample seating inside and out, shelves filled with an assortment of imported French goods and pantry items, a menu brimming with French cafe staples, and various desserts on display. After discussing the different desserts with the pastry chef, I ordered the croissant bread pudding, pecan tart, and blueberry raspberry struesal. The desserts were all rich and decadent - a little on the pricey side ($7.50 per pastry), but well worth it. ****************** My Ratings: 1 Star: Terrible; just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars: Wasn't a fan so Not likely to return. 3 Stars: Meh. “I have accidentally found the greatest toast in all of America. I was here to meet some friends for an event and thought I’d pop in for a quick bite. I ordered the avocado toast thinking it would be an unremarkable snack. Have you ever experienced something so above and beyond expectation you wonder if you’re on a hidden camera show? This toast is that good. Toppings were fresh, seasoning was on point, and the toast was perfectly soft but toasty. Also ordered the Michelle Wi which lemonade and black tea. Great atmosphere, really friendly staff, nice patio and neighborhood parking nearby. Would it be rude if I ordered another toast? Actually considering it.“
