I sat at the bar for close to 20mins.. no one acknowledged I was even sitting there. I eventually had to wave someone down to get a menu. Then was continued to not be asked if I wanted to order a drink. I literally left when I saw someone else who doesn't look like me walk up to the bar and be greeted and serviced. Not a great way to end my stay here. Highly disappointed in this from Kimpton.

I have been going to this amazing location for six years - it has become an amazing space for day time resting and journalling - I really feel loved here from the staff who lets us locals, buy and coffee and Jane Q's and rest up in their lobby areas - so many great art books - and extremely well curated art wall. New Years Eve's are also phenomenal here and provide such a great space for a ton of happy people to come together and have fun! Dan Rook was an incredible asset to this bar and I miss him a ton!

Valet and a block away from Pantages makes this a great spot to grab a bite and drink before the show. Bartenders are welcoming and attentive. You can order off the bar menu or take your drink to Jane Q. Great view of surrounding buildings.

I ordered cocktails for 4 people and the bar was out of ingredients for 2 of the drinks we ordered. We switched to 2 other cocktails- also out. That's 4 drinks out of an 8-drink menu that are unavailable. Okay, two of us will switch to beer. The pilsner is out too (bartender tells me the cheap lager is basically the same). Let's try wine. The first two we asked for were also out, and the third was poured from the dregs of two bottles that hadn't been vacuum sealed and tasted extremely oxidized. The bartender (large guy with a goatee) was incredibly slow and asked us to repeat the two cocktails we ordered that they could make 5 times. Totally clueless. Seems like whoever is managing this bar isn't doing their job, and the crew behind the bar isn't any better. The space is beautiful though.

I stayed at this Kimpton Hotel in LA for first time and as a loyal and fanatic of the brand, again...I was not disappointed. My only negative critique, was that I had wish there bar was open earlier in the afternoon. The bar opens at 5pm. The room then fills with hotel guests and some locals with a simple menu of pizzas and small bites and a very well prepared cocktail and spirits list. I had a very elegant time and ordered the pepperoni pizza with hot honey. Very well balanced and baked and a delicious crust.

Located inside the Kimpton Everly Hotel.Cool LA vibe overlooking the downtown with full view floor to ceiling windows. Couches to lounge in spaced spaciously. Glass room partitioned within the bar lined with low level cushioned couches. A pool table for a relaxing games between sips.Drinks ~ Vegas like pricing for small pours. The concoctions need work.Bartenders ~ they all need retraining. Very slow and take their leisurely time to tend the guests. Watch them make drinks and it will put you to sleep. The cool vibe is a large living room with ample lounging. Service was the sour taste in the drinks.

We're staying here in the hotel. Came up to bar 10 minutes before closing. The "bartender" said we're closed, plopped a closed sign down in front of us, and physically shooed us away. We asked if there was something nearby, she very condescendingly referred us to the internet, as if we were the most annoying and idiotic humans who had ever crossed her path

Very cool bar in K town. on 8th street. Its kind of hidden and in a weird location but its promising. I have been here for brunch and its pretty good. Sometimes you have to give a secret password which you can find on the facebook page.

Nice relaxing spot with a decent food menu inside The Kimpton Everly.

No. It is quiet, it is spacious, it has fun seating options, it has windows overlooking Vine St, it has new decor and clean furniture, but none of these are reasons to visit a bar. The bar is also pretty with its long granite tops and illuminated drink shelves. The drinks that come out sounds fabulous on paper, but sadly do not jive with the expectations. It always seemed like something was missing, skipped or replaced. Like the vesper that boasts lillet and therefore hits much sweeter tones than the original kina and deviates from literally every other legit bar that stuffs cochi americano derivatives. The attempt at manhattan was equally inept in some hard to define ways - as if smooth single malt was used instead of a punchier rye. Overall, the range of drinks from classics to the menu left a lot to be desired and I would surely hesitate before visiting again.
