Amazing gem of a place serving up gluten free donuts, some of which are vegan.Surrounded by loads of incredible gf and vegan donut and pastry places back home in Australia, it was so lovely to source this place out.TEAM: We were blown away more than anything else, by the service. The person (I think they had colourful hair) who served us: a 10/10 champion, clearly takes great pride in their work and loves what they do. I haven't stopped talking about how bubbly, efficient, knowledgeable and compassionate they were. You made my week! The only place I can think of that comes close, in customer service to the magic castle hotel.TIP: Go early if you're keen to get variety as their popular ones can sell out by early morning.Thank you so much for nourishing our tastebuds and souls.Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free and vegan options

Walked by many times, even today, but I stopped and turned on my heels and walked in and so pleased that I did. I was met by a lovely greeting, feeling most welcomed and the excitement of her fonuts displayed, felt it in her voice and saw it in her facial expressions. Didn't think to slow down and have a cup of coffee but will do soon. Excellent selections and something for everyone. A must for everyone. Good for most diet restrictions.

I really don’t write reviews but this is hands down my favorite place in Los Angeles to get a special treat! Being gluten free, options are sometimes slim, yet these donuts are truly one of a kind and leave you wanting more. I also love how the owner is expanding the menu and offering some Italian-inspired baked goods like the crostata…. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. Forever a fan. :)

We were looking for a small treat and came across Fōnuts! It was late in the day and almost all of them were sold out but we were still able to get an amazing variety: mini strawberry shortcake, mini churro, mini blueberry earl grey. The minis are perfect to try the different flavors. Lots of vegan options too! I personally loved the Churro one the most :) Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Very very sweet and they didn't have the consistency of a donut. It was more of a muffin in a donut shape. I got the Strawberry Shortcake and Blueberry Earl Gray. The only good thing was the nice cashier.

Monty was so awesome! Called over the phone and he told me there was only a few of my favorite donuts left and when I got there he had them ready for me without asking. Amazing service will definitely keep coming back! Donuts tasted great even at the end of the day too

I love that everything here in gluten-free, and they also have a great selection of GF/vegan donuts. I've tried every single vegan flavor and they're all delicious, but my favorite is always whatever the seasonal flavor is (it's always great)! I also love the banana chocolate, vanilla, churro, and peanut butter chocolate. I do wish they made some of the other flavors vegan -- like the blueberry eary grey.
Absolutely delicious. I have a gluten intolerance and was devastated to think I'd have to give up "donuts". Not only did I find a replacement, but these are so much better! Every flavor I've tried is a winner. I recently moved to the Inland Empire so I can't come as frequently, but I always stop by when I'm in LA. It's also a tradition to come here for every birthday. My nephews are 7 & 8 and this is their favorite sweet treat as well!

My cousin is gluten and dairy free so this is the perfect birthday treat spot for her! We got 10 and tried about 7 flavors. The texture of the dough it's is pretty spot on. They have the same density of a traditional donut as well. My only complaints come from the richness of the donuts. I am not gluten free or dairy free, so I'm a classic donut lover and for me these tasted more like cakes than donuts. While I appreciate and enjoyed trying their unique flavors, I think they take away from the simplicity of a donuts classic doughy flavor. These are much richer in flavor than a classic donut and therefore a bit much to eat as a breakfast treat for me personally. My favorite was the churro - that was a solid 10/10 for me and not too rich. I think this is a great spot for any gluten free and dairy free treat lovers tho!

$11 for 2 donuts is a rip off. I wouldn't complain if it actually tasted good but it was disappointing. Soon as you take a bite the whole donut falls apart and crumbles into pieces. Also only 3 different kinds of donuts to choose from.
