Definitely underrated place in the area! I got the Sichuan Mala Hot Pot! Amazing flavors, and such good options for the hot pot and they were super accommodating and substituted beef for chicken, which was really nice! They have a great Boba special during lunch, which is wonderful and I really enjoyed the flavors and the hot pot and it was a good price for the size of the hot pot!!!! Would come again.

Good social spot, food is okay-good depending on what you get, and interior is really something. Lots of KAWS and imagery otherwise. They definitely put a lot of thought into the interior design. Food can be good, but it depends on what you get. All the personal hotpots have "fillers" that are pretty obviously cheaper or purchased frozen - still good, but just a note. After coming here a couple times, I have a pretty solid idea of what I like to order: Popcorn chicken - this is literally amazing when it first comes out of the kitchen. As it cools down, for some reason I like it a lot less. Well seasoned and crispy, exactly what popcorn chicken should be. I always find myself craving this during the hours that Figs Corner is closed. Golden Broth beef hotpot - really nice, flavorful and bright soup. This is one of my favorites, though I don't personally like the crab stick or spam in the dish. I do like the quail egg though. Soup and hotpot ingredients are great with the rice bowl included with this. Sichuan Mala hotpot - if you've actually had Sichuan hotpot, this is a long shot from it. Sometimes I really like this, sometimes I don't. I'm not sure if they changed the recipe, but I really enjoyed the fish cake in this. Now, the soup is just ok. Cheese corn - my friend really likes this, I find it ok. Tastes like canned sweet corn with cheese on top, broiled. They also might add extra sugar to help the sweet corn taste sweeter. If you already like cheese corn, you'll probably also like this. They recently came out with drinks, which I'd be interested in trying considering there's already a pretty popular boba spot next door. I'll definitely be back if I want to have a conversation with someone over food, but I probably wouldn't return alone.

While at USC for a performance, we found this place for dinner. We were glad we stopped in! Hotpots are a fun dinner, and these didn't disappoint. My spouse had the seafood hotpot and was super happy with the flavors. I had the mushroom hotpot and wished the broth had more flavor, but I was overall pleased. Fun decor and fun restaurant.

The ambiance was nice and the service was good, but the food is where this place really shined! I got the tomato broth and it was spectacular, would highly HIGHLY recommend.

Asked if we could get a little bit of extra noodles for the hot pot because they barely gave us any in the small bowl they usually give and they were like haha sure thats fine acting all nice and stuff giving us a little extra. They gave us literally a scrap amount more (one bite worth) and they proceeded to charge us $2 each for the 3 *extra noodles order they gave us?. pretty insane how they charging us for that and we asked why are we getting charged we literally asked for a little more cause they didn't give us the normal portion to start with.. those noodles they gave us weren't even worth 5 cents lol. scammers fr

I feel like there isn't enough single serving hot pot around in the area so I was excited when I saw this place opened up. The interior was amazing. Had a lot of cool/trendy decorations that made the place feel like such a vibe and they were playing k-chill music. It was pretty empty when we came and the outside location is a bit sus, but overall the hot pot was really yummy. Super creamy and savory and had a lot of toppings to fill me up. Will come back if in the area again. Food: 8/10 Service: 9/10 (we were the only ones there) Ambience: 8.5/10

Stumbled across this restaurant and it’s definitely one of my fav! I always crave hot pot and this was perfect! The portion was perfect and very affordable.Tried their golden broth beef hot pot and it was a bomb! Just hit the spot. Asked for the signature beef non spicy and it just tasted like regular hot pot, was alright. Also tried their pork skewers and although really yummy, it was really small portion of pork meat on the skewers. However, Highly recommend! Give it a shot!

If your establishment closes at 1030 say 1030 on your information. We stopped by tonight around 1030 to grab a quick bite and when we went inside a scrawny looking kid tells us they are closed and gave me attitude about it. There were other people eating. Very rude. Never got to try it and now I never will. Work on your customer service.

I enjoy it and it's definitely underrated. Figs corner looks and tastes amazing, especially after a long day, making you feel like you earned the meal.

Pretty dope new Chinese spot next to USC.The personal hot pots are very comparable to Boiling Point, definitely better in some aspects. The ingredients taste a lot more fresh, and the soup is a lot less oily. The amount of meat they give is a little less, but they try to make up for it by giving more of everything else. The SICHUAN MALA HOTPOT has a really clean but flavorful Sichuan flavor. It's definitely on the spicier side, but super bomb. Also tried the SIGNATURE BEEF HOTPOT in non spicy, and the soup is way better than Boiling Point's (it's got a more authentic, cleaner flavor).
