We love founders! The food is good and the happy hour deals are good for LA. FYI - they don't do happy hour during big game days like NFL playoffs.

Great place to watch sports. Dropped in tonight for a laker game and the bar was great. Ambience and volume were great, and service was perfect (thanks Vanessa and Freddy). The bartenders did a great job of making sure my wife (who didn't care about the laker game) also had a great time. Looking forward to coming back soon!

We just moved to the area. Love the bartenders, good bar food, but good God, someone do something about the speakers and the volume! It's 4pm and I'm yelling to have a conversation. Servers have to repeat themselves and our server told us she goes home with her ears ringing. We had to leave because we felt our ear drums. Now, mind you, we are concert going festival people and something about the lack of acoustics or the placement of the speakers makes it damaging to the eardrum and that is t enjoyable- for anyone. Please, do something bout your audio, my ears hurt.

I've been a loyal patron of Founders Ale for years, but the recent transition in bar management has left me thoroughly disappointed. The new management under Vanessa seems apathetic towards loyal customers, and to make matters worse, they're underpouring shots, which is unacceptable. As someone who has supported this establishment through thick and thin, I expected better treatment and service. It's disheartening to see the decline in standards at a place that once felt like home. The ambience of this place is always amazing, specially during trivia night, however, recent turn in management left me with a negative impression. Message to the bartender Vanessa at least use a jigger so you don't under or over pour!

Service has gotten very bad at Founders. Really long wait times while not very crowded.Could easily be a great bar if they just had average service. Always take forever to get a drink or order food.

Cool bar with nice big booths and dark wood decor. I had a Stout, chicken wings and fries. The chicken wings were crispy and had a lot of meat. Cool vibe, and a pretty good all around bar. ?

Absolutely love this place. 5 stars all around. Amazing food and great beer and cocktail options. This is my go to spot whenever I am in the area. Great TV coverage and service.
Went there tonight for a chill night we walked in and sat down right away at a booth. It was busy and the table still had dirty plates and empty glasses. We sat there for over 20 mins until til we finally got up and left. Four different wait/kitchen staff walked past us and it felt like they intentionally tried not to make eye contact. We tried to get someone’s attention a couple of times and no one would look up or look our direction. The servers were leaning against the back wall with their hands behind their backs looking bored. This is pretty par for the course when it’s busy as we go there a lot so we normally sit at the bar. Another issue I have is when you ask for darts they are always broken or they don’t have any. I really like this place and want it to better than what it is. However, we have kind of given up.

This place is all sorts of depressing. It smells like old alcohol the instance you walk in and it’s very muggy. Feels like a place where people try to get rid of their miseries, but they’re probably adding to them by being here.
