What a CLASSIC DIVE BAR! AMAZING VIBES. You can feel the movie and celebrity history of this place. From where The Doors, Harry Bosch and LA CONFIDENTIAL'S stars! Damm! And it's not just the vibe. The bartender made my wife among the best shaken Margaretta ever and my import beer was ice cold....all for $12.... vs the $60 we spent at the wonderful Musso and Franks (great also but in different ways). Great doorman that smiles but is unmoveable....LOLYou need to Research before you go to appreciate it's history! WonderfulPs, No Food that I can see....Who the hell needs it...YOUR IN THE FROLIC ROOM...OMG

Meh.. literally a hole in the wall. It has some history, so it has that going for it. Staff is great though.

Was in desperate need for an alcoholic drink. We were originally at the strip club across the street but they were dry. We saw this place while walking by and decided to grab quick drinks. This is a typical hole in a wall. Ironically, they were playing a lot of reggae music. This place gives me of a rock n roll vibe. The bartender was quick enough. It served its purpose.

An iconic Hollywood dive bar that represents one of the very last vestiges of Old Hollywood.

Wouldn’t feel safe going to any place where security assaults PEOPLE on a public sidewalk while on the clock of an establishment. I really hope this was dealt with Accordingly, and he was terminated, and charges were pressed.

So my friends invited us here because it was allegedly haunted and although we didn't see a ghost it was still really fun! It's a really unique bar, super small and intimate, and since it's next to the Pantages Theatre you get to see a lot of interesting characters. The vibe is cool, and not serious, I would say it's a good place to get the feel of HOLLYWOOD.

Guys tried to advance on my girl. They looked messed up so-it may have beeen cause of the alcohol

The second best bar on the Walk of Fame! Depending on your mood, it might be better than Musso on any given day. Not be as glitzy as it once was, but it has developed a 'comfortable' patina. Professional bartenders, beautiful Hirschfeld mural, and cheap drinks ($11 stiff martinis and $5 Miller High Life's ftw!). No food.

CLASSIC HOLLYWOOD DIVE BAR! It's a great cross-section of Hollywood life... Locals, tourists, Pantages intermissionists, "entertainment" types, union grips, an occasional hoodlum, and several aspiring actor/writer/musicians. The drinks are stiff. The restrooms aren't clean. But... the service is genuine and friendly. (Bartender Joel is AWESOME!) If you are ever at The Pantages for a show or otherwise near Hollywood Blvd and the 101 freeway, make time to stop by and take it in. Classic!

0/5 Black Bouncer said ALL IDs cite your middle name instead of an initial. Obviously incorrect. Showed my passport to back it up and still didn't believe me..very strange.

I was enjoying myself alone, & out of nowhere the bouncer/security guard told me if I wasn’t “ordering another drink” it was “time to leave”. I asked the bartender if I had somehow been out of line or too drunk & he said no. SKIP THIS PLACE. I mean—WOW?
