[Review #753]2023-039OTM Club 02/06/22 - 02/12/22Food Order:OTM Club Curated Freebie: TRI-COLORE PIZZA (tri-colore salad tossed in balsamic vinaigrette, shaved parmesan, olive oil & garlic crust)POTATO & LEEK PIZZA (Yukon gold potatoes, aged white cheddar, leeks, calabrian chilies, garlic, chives)Full Proof Pizza is located within Lodge Bread, known for their awesome breads (we first discovered LB at the farmer's market). I likened the concept similar to Pizzeria Mozza because of Chef Silverton's superb baking skillz at La Brea Bakery; however, FPP's execution doesn't rival PM's output though I quite enjoy their flavors.I got a whole pie via OTM Club! The tri-colore pizza had great flavor & superb crust; the balsamic gives it an explosive complex, yet rich sweetness that lingers a bit on the palate. I especially loved, loved, loved the potato & leek pizza! Who woulda thunk a simple potato & leek soup concoction could work so well on a pizza?! Adding calabrian chilies give this pie a bit of spice kick, & the crust was baked to a crisp, golden brown.Sad to see Lodge Bread's evening pizza concept gone, but Lodge Bread is still here with a limited & plain pizza menu. I need to make a visit to see if they're willing to recreate the magic of Full Proof Pizza.Highly Recommended: Potato & Leek (my fav!), & Tri-Colore Pizzas!

It seems that full proof pizza is no longer a business. The location is now called Lodge Bread. I will leave a separate review for them for their pizza.

Their pizza sauce seems to have a deeper taste than traditional sauces. Their other ingredients are always fresh tasting as is their salads.

Edit: spoke with the Lodge Bread staff and it sounds like Full Proof Pizza is closed now at this location. The pizza on the menu that's just Lodge Bread does not hold a candle to Full Proof's. Sounds like no evening hours either, closes 4pm everyday.Don't know what happened... this used to be my favorite local pizza spot (and arguably best pizza on the west side. Amazing ingredients, flavorful thick crunchy crust, multiple portion options.Only thing that remains now as of Feb 2023 is the great crust flavor (as expected of Lodge Bread.) Topping selection is bare bones and crust is soft/soggy.Whoever's in charge, what happened to the old menu and pizza recipes? :(

First their hours are wrong.Second, they charge premium prices for mall-food court level pizza.Soggy, flavorless garbage. No clue how they got any good reviews. Tried the classic, the margarita and the pepperoni.Ended up trashing it all and ordering from another spot. It's trash. Honestly. Stick to bread, don't make pizza,Or at least charge the less than dominos pricing you should be charging because their trash pizza has more flavor than your overpriced bs.

Been wanting to try this place for awhile. We ordered the cheese and margarita pies to go. Overall pretty dry and chewy. Our jaws definitely got a workout. Really nice staff. Wish them luck, but didn't work for us.

This review is more about the customer service than the food. I placed my order online to avoid waiting in line. On my arrival, I asked a curly-haired employee if I had to wait in the (long) line for a pickup. He said yes. Once I finally made it to the register, the cashier told me that I had to go to the other employee (the curly-haired one) for pick-up orders. I spent about 15 minutes in line to receive a cold pizza when that employee could have been competent enough to do his job.

We ordered 12" pizzas and a salad for 4 people. Thought the 12" pizzas was not going to be enough, but we were full after eating both plus the salad... and had room for dessert. The 12" pizzas have six slices and sharing was pretty easy between the four of us.When we picked up the items, we even received a couple of free pastries... end of the day discount. After the 20 min. drive back home, we were sure the pizza was going to be cold, but it was still a perfect temperature to eat right away. Definitely will be headed back again.

We brought our family from Az to eat here. Amazing pizza, kids devoured all the food. Cinnamon roll ?❤️ must get!! Great views and atmosphere. Excellent service. We will be coming back just to eat here again.

Great pizza and great staff. Mushroom pizza and chicken BBQ are great. Super crisp sourdough crust. Amazing.

Seriously good thin crust pizza. Everything from the crust to all the toppings had a peak freshness flavor. No overly processed ingredients or that mass-manufactured pizza flavor. We tried 18" half margarita/half wild mushroom just for a little variety, and to taste the base sauce flavors. The red sauce was a classic and provided just the right of moisture without making the rest of the pie soggy. The wild mushroom sauce was a bechamel white sauce that brought the flavor of the wild mushrooms and cheesiness together. Overall really great experience from the very helpful and knowledgeable staff to every satisfying bite.

This place went from amazing to bad really quickly. When I first ordered the dough/formula was entirely different and it was delicious so I was willing to pay the higher price. The dough used to taste like lodgebread quality. I ordered a marg pizza this week for takeout and I can confidently say it was gross and underdone, yet the crust tasted stale and was extremely chewy. Will not order again which is a shame because I live down the street. They can't be charging these prices for a tiny, gross pizza.
