My friend had a fire at her house and 911 instructed her to go get an extinguisher from the nearest building. She ran to this restaurant to get help and they were super rude to her and refused to help or let her borrow a fire extinguisher and just let her house continue to burn; then kicked her out of the restaurant and treated her very poorly/were racist towards her. Super unfortunate, can’t endorse a place like that.

Great place for motel atmosphere Chinese food. If you’re trying to lose weight in a hurry ordering anything on the menu will give you bubble guts.Staff and waiters are rude. They ignore costumers questions and requests. If you enjoy being disrespected while you eat sub par food this place is a must go. Bonus points for the cheap weight loss program.

Racist staff, I live across the street, and my house had a fire, I had called 911 and they told me to go to the nearest place to ask for a fire extinguisher, I went into Fu's palace to ask and the staff treated me like I was sub human, refused to help me, told me to leave, I'm a doctor, a young professional, but I am also a young Latina woman and I can only imagine what I experienced was due to racism because I can't imagine why you wouldn't help someone whose house is on fire, it was despicable. I cannot recommend anyone eat and a place that turned their back to someone who was trying to get help. Atrocious, the fire fighters couldn't believe it when I told them that they had refused to help me.

A true Chinese restaurant where you can sit down and have a nice meal quickly and write in our Pacoima neighborhood. The food was delicious and the service was very attentive if you are craving Chinese food, but not wanting to sit at home and eat out of a carton I recommend, this spot for a great dining experience

I grew up in the Pico Robertson area and the Fu's Palace was once the Tiki decorated Won Q restaurant, Won Q had very good food. The Tiki decor is gone (there was a time in the late eighties, early ninties that the space had become the Sugar Shack, jamaican restaurant and was redecorated)....... Fortunately, Fu's Palace has kept up the Won Q tradition of good Chinese food and it is better than anything I have found in the Palms, Pico Robertson, Beverlywood area. Best Wor Ton soup north of National Blvd. Mu Shu pork was great. I suggest you sit in the booths in the bar area. The lighting is more intimate and fun to watch the bartender serve his customers.

They serve substantial portions of tasty food at very reasonable prices. Their sizzling rice soup is excellent. They have a full bar but I don't see customers sitting at it and I never saw a bar menu on the tables but I will ask next time. I have been to better Chinese restaurants but the combination of decent food quality with sizeable quantity and very reasonable prices makes this a place to go back to.

I got takeout for the first time from Fu's. The Tangerine beef was soggy by the time I got it home 3 miles away. Waste of $18, it was not edible. The fries rice was just ok and the spare ribs weren't that great either.

The war wonton soup for 4 was generous in size and variety and the perfect starter. The steam fish was delicate, chinese broccoli in oyster sauce was done perfectly with just enough crunch, sweet and Sour pork was a crowd pleaser with the kids and beef with broccoli was tender and tasty. A thumbs up to the service and decor was nostalgic. Thanks for a great meal.

I love Fu's for several reasons. The ambiance is that of older traditional chinese restaurants in terms of it's decor and also how the food is served. Perhaps it's subtle but having a waiter that brings a large bowl of War wonton soup and then distributes it to each person so that each bowl contains all the ingredients of the soup, the wonton, roast pork, shrimp, chicken, pieces of bok choy, and broth is something that just isn't experienced anymore at most Chinese restaurants. Or when you order moo shoo pork and each serving is constructed and rolled with care at the table. The food is delicious and portions are substantial. Price is reasonable, especially compared to many of it's competitors that have inordinately raised their prices to an extreme degree. One of those on Pico even charges extra for rice with the entree now. The owner of Fu's is always polite and appreciative of our business. The variety of dishes available is large. This is a jewel of a Chinese restaurant.

While the war wonton soup was delicious and everything we had wanted from it. There in lies the two stars. Broccoli and garlic sauce was random sprouts of broccoli some cooked, some completely raw some overcooked it’s almost like the chef grabbed some from yesterday some from tomorrow, and a handful that was semi cooked today, threw it all in the same plastic tub and sent it on its way to us. I don’t know how a kitchen turns out a dish like this for $15. The volcano shrimp was battered, fried, and then soaked in a greasy sugary syrup sauce so that the batter went completely soggy. Again what’s the concept behind this dish whatever it is, it’s dismal. The Mu Shu pork distinguishes itself as pleasantly edible in comparison. Honestly this day and age and with the prices at restaurants, a place like this needs to clean up its act or go out of business.
