Will never ever go back to this place. I have made several complaints about the atrocious service we experienced and they deleted my review and never took care of the poor service or lack there of.

Made reservations ahead of time and was seated within a couple of minutes of arrival. Service and food were amazing. Ordered 4 dishes between 2 of us and must say that our favorite was the goat liver mousse. The crumpets that accompany the mousse were the star!Parking: Parking is along the street around the restaurant. May be difficult to find parking if coming during peak dinner hours. Some streets may be dark so be wary of surroundings.

One of my favorite restaurants in LA handsdown. I dream of the goat liver mousse and beets !! Allison is the best server ever, the sweetest person I ever met and is so accommodating. Also shoutout to Duo for making the most delicious drinks, highly recommend the bees knees and spa day! Also would highly recommend going for lunch too, the short rib chilaquiles were to die for

My sister-in-law slipped because the floor was wet - believe me we paid full price with no discount. A manager asked we were "ok". But considering she hit her head, please advise me as to how you answer that(?

Truly the most amazing dining experience! From the beautiful atmosphere to the unique foods. We are visiting from the East Coast and this became a highlight of the whole trip!

Disappointing Experience Despite Promising Location: Nestled in the vibrant arts district of LA, Girl and the Goat offers a promising setting for a celebratory gathering. However, our recent visit for a friend's birthday left us feeling underwhelmed.Upon arrival, we entrusted the waitress to guide our culinary journey, resulting in an overwhelming array of dishes. While the concept of small plates was appealing, the execution fell short. Each dish seemed to suffer from an excess of seasonings and spices, lacking harmony and balance.Despite the intimate ambiance, our dining experience was hindered by slow service and inconsistent timing. Plates arrived haphazardly, disrupting the flow of the meal and leaving us feeling disjointed.Unfortunately, our interactions with the waitress only added to our disappointment. Her lack of attentiveness and seemingly disorganized approach detracted from the overall experience. While Girl and the Goat may boast a multitude of glowing reviews, our personal encounter did not align with the hype. Despite its prime location and trendy atmosphere, the mediocre quality of the food failed to justify the steep prices. In conclusion, while Girl and the Goat may have its merits, our visit left much to be desired. For those seeking a memorable dining experience in LA's arts district, we suggest exploring other options that offer a more cohesive culinary experience. Forgot to mentions the drinks were nice looking, the pink drink was amazing looking and lacked alcohol and way too sweet. The margaritas were just OK.

I love the atmosphere and location of this fine eatery. Very pleasant group of workers who I would want to be friends with. The energy of the place is calm, yet vibrant! The energy is amazing, but it is a little hard to get seats here. Plan in advance if you plan on going a busy night. The drinks are delicious. Classics with a slight twist. As for the food. The food is good, but I do feel it is a bit heavy. The only thing I did not like was the mango sticky rice, only because I was not expecting the modifications.... I would pass if you are craving the classic favorite, not the Picasso version. Overall, lovely restaurant. I would like to return one day!

Girl and the Goat never disappoints! The ambience is fantastic, setting the stage for a memorable dining experience. The service was top-notch; our waiter's recommendations were spot-on, ensuring we had a delightful meal. The pork belly, green beans, and short rib noodles were all incredibly delicious. Even the kids menu shines with creative options like naan bread pizza, which my niece adored. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking for exceptional food and atmosphere.

Came here with a group of friends couple weeks ago and it was great to finally stop in and see and check out the Girl & The Goat. I've had this in my bookmarks ever since they opened. The vibes here are really cool. It's in a warehousey - office space kind of area of dtla. We were seated right by the kitchen, so it was cool to see the team in action cranking out all the orders for the entire restaurant. We were able to try lot of amazing foods that day. We went with the grilled corn and the naan & dips appetizer. We also got the pork belly, the branzino and that was a good surprise how well the fish turned out. We also tried a few of their dessert options. Overall, there's a lot of really great and delicious items that they had here. Parking: I found parking in the structure right next to it. They had a flat $10 parking since I had arrived after 6 PM and it was easy and quick. I did make couple laps around to find street parking but had no success so this is a great alternative .

Food is definitely a five, but the service at the LA location could use a little tweaking. We made a reservation for 9:15 and weren't seated until 9:45 due to some issues with table turnover. (They did apologize and comp some appetizers foI just feel like with the price point and the overall vibe of the place, they shouldn't be asking parties to stay only two hours. The food is fast, but it's literally family style & meant to be shared. Just don't overbook maybe? That being said, I feel like the concept and the ambience clash. Again, dishes are meant to be shared, but the music is incredibly loud to the point you can't even hear each other unless you sit outside. I feel like they could tone it down a bit, but maybe that's the vibe they're going for. Regardless, the food here is exceptional. I def recommend either of the shanks, the crumpets, mousse, and beet salad.
