Having seen it featured on Remarkable Places to Eat, and read the positive recommendations on Trip Advisor, I had to visit Glen's Kitchen when I was passing through Bristol. Caribbean cuisine is not normally high on my list of choices for a meal; however...... I got to Glen's just as breakfast was finishing and before lunch was starting but Glen and his staff looked after me and served me as quickly as they could. I chose the Goat Curry with rice and peas. It was absolutely delicious. I now appreciate how enjoyable Caribbean cuisine can be and will return sometime to try the J*** Chicken. Glen himself came out to see me and I was touched that he took time to do this. It seemed that nothing was too much trouble for himself and his staff. You will have to seek out Glen's Kitchen if you are a visitor to the area as it is off the beaten track somewhat but it is well worth the visit. The fact that people go out of their way to eat there says it all. The food, value and service are superb. Glen deserves all the praise he has received and I have no hesitation in recommending this establishment to anyone who likes Caribbean food, and even those like me who are not connoisseurs may find themselves converted!

Seen Glen's Kitchen on TV a while ago and made a note to go when next in Bristol. So glad we did. Food was absolutely delicious and everyone so friendly and helpful. Lovely community with excellent driver back to the station from Dad's Taxis.

Our family all had a wonderful experience and meal. The food was fantastic which included the J*** chicken, goat curry (real goat not mutton like you find elsewhere), rice and peas, salt fish fritters and dumplings. Glen couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming. Will definitely go again if back in Bristol.

The experience was amazing, great food, lovely relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere along with extremely kind and approachable staff. Would highly recommend dropping in here if anywhere near the area.

Visited Glen on our first stop following the footsteps of the BBC Fabulous Places to Eat in Bristol. 100% authentic and Glen was a delight. Food was excellent and very tasty, the free dumpling was an added bonus. Glen clearly has a passion for his cooking and was delighted that people are interested in his eatery. Would recommend if visiting Bristol.

We were well rewarded after the short walk out to St Pauls, a spacious and clean cafe respecting distances, the j**** rice and peas was served immediately and did not disappoint, a timely reminder of trips to Jamaica.

I saw this place on TV so went for lunch and it certainly did not disappoint.
We heard about Glen's Kitchen and thought we would pay a visit for lunch. So glad we did as the food was excellent - if you can't get to the Caribbean at the moment, then the food here is a big reminder of former holidays as it is perfectly authentic. The Curry Goat with Spicy Rice was excellent and plentiful, while my wife enjoyed the J*** Chicken with Rice and Peas. We were also given a couple of Salt Fish Fritters which were very tasty. As a bonus, Glen himself came to our table to introduce himself and it was a pleasure talking with him. A lovely lunch and it was a joy being around the locals listening to their friendly banter. St Pauls is a 20 - 25 minute walk away from the centre, but well worth a visit. Recommended.
