This place has gone down. Not what it used to be. Service was good, but the good (fried chicken was just okay) was not worth the price anymore. Fried green tomatoes are still good.

Excellent, spicy fried chicken. Easily the best I’ve ever had, and the pieces were large. I also had the fried okra, which was perfectly crisp. The baked beans were just the right amount of sweetness with a little bit of spice.Parking is extremely limited. Google maps shows a larger parking lot, but most of it is restricted to the residents of the building next door. You may need to park on the street and walk if you come during the busy time. Also, the restaurant is on the small side, so be prepared for a wait if they are busy.

First of the all the cashier who had the teddy bear sweater on was very pleasant and extremely cute ?. She gave my mother and I a sample of the Mac and cheese which I liked. She shared a laugh or two with us I see why they have her working the register. The parking is limited but the food is delicious and worth it. The inside is spacious with several clean tables and chairs if you choose to dine in. The sweet Potato pie was an extra bonus we got in our order and let me tell yall it's ?????. I ha e no complaints about the atmosphere, customer service, or the food.

Came here because of the great reviews. The food we received was barely edible. The chicken was so overcooked it was beyond chewy. Every piece we tried to eat was like chicken jerky. For how expensive it was we weren't expecting to get food that we couldn't even stomach. Won't be coming back here again.

This was such a wonderful experience! I can't say enough & I apologize for waiting so long. We had just got off the plane from another state where we live. My brother swears by this place. I am on a limited diet due to health issues. It was noon in the middle of a Southern California summer. The staff was so genuinely kind. Offered to help me with my limitations. OH MY OH MY! SO FANTASTICALLY MOUTH WATERING GOOD! You treat people that serve with respect and they will do the same. And these fine folks DID NOT disappoint! The atmosphere was cool. Music was delicious. Smell was mouth-watering. Price was dignified.Thank you, my friends for the experience. I highly recommend their own baked beans and macaroni salad.

Last night I waste 10 minutes standing at the main register waiting for a table and decided to look for one another 12 mins went by and no one came to take our order, as I was leaving finally a waitress that passed by us 3 times already decided to reach out to us asking us if he could help us. I felt discriminated. For being my first time was so dissapounted.
