Compared with Korean barbecue restaurants in San Francisco, the types of meat and soup are relatively less, and you have to pay again for lettuce and perilla! The overall price is also more expensive than Korean BBQ restaurants in San Francisco. Comprehensive comparison, the price/performance ratio is low

This place was great, although the wait time was 1 1/2 hour it was fine. The speed of service with the combination of the servers cooking your food is amazing. The atmosphere was great, which only made the food taste even better. Definitely will come back.

Such a good OG spot in ktown. Went in for lunch on a Thursday afternoon as it was pretty packed! Luckily we didn’t have to wait on get seated as soon as our whole party arrived.Service was really quick and they let us order 3 meats at a time. You MUST get the beef tongue when you’re here. Aside from that, other highlights include their brisket, thin pork belly, pork shoulder (jowl), and the marinated short rib. Everything was delicious and we finished off with the kimchi fried rice cooked on the stone grill.

All-you-can-eat Korean barbecue, AND someone to cook for you??? Sign me up!If you're lazy like me, Hae Jang Chon is the perfect place where you, or the ahjummas (Korean aunties) can cook for you, without compromising quality and taste. Their menu is straight to the point without all the bells and whistles of the other Korean barbecues. That's right, there's no rotating different banchans of the day, or any of that red wine-marinated meat nonsense. But what they do offer on their more simplified menu, they do extremely well.Their steamed egg and soybean paste soup both hit the spot. This is also the first place l've seen where you can order whole kimchi pancakes to put on the grill. Some of my favorite meats are the Prime steak and Beef brisket.Make sure to order some Bulgogi at the end, because they can even make Mozzarella cheese kimchi fried rice with the bulgogi mixed in for you at your table. For dinner and weekends, it's $44 per person, but service is impeccable and we barely had to pick up our own tongs to cook and could just enjoy our meal. Thanks for reading! ^-^

All u can eat for lunch! The waiters were great and helped with the barbecue throughout the process. Even the grill pan was cleaned very well. The shredded radish and spicy cabbage in the side dishes was my favorite. I also liked the meat texture of the beef roll. The marinated beef eye had a sweet taste and was served with rice. It’s really amazing! Korean dipping sauce is also very important! I’ll try to eat more plates of meat next time I go there in the evening!

Popular premium all you can eat Korean BBQ spot. Came here for dinner on a Friday evening around 8pm for a group of three and it was a 40 minute wait. This restaurant is open late. There were a couple of big groups but the majority were groups of three to four. There’s some valet parking in the shared lot but I found it easier to park in the street. There were certain items that were an up charge including the tofu soup ($20) and lettuce leaves ($5). Otherwise, the meats were all included and come three at a time in small plates. The steak and the bulgogi were the table favorites. At the end, they can make a Korean fried rice and you can add cheese on top if you so desire. We left feeling extremely full and satisfied.

it was mothers day. i understand that the rush, in and of itself, is somewhat horrible and expectations are high. considering it was lunch hour, perhaps we chose the wrong day to come, accompanied by the overwhelming bad timing as to which hour of the day we chose to drop by, which proved to be a mistake.being forced to pay two dollars for some idiot to move my car 12 feet into the parking lot seems a bit excessive and equally contrived with a scent of racketeering.the food is excellent. this is the most amazing korean bbq joint that i have been to in a long time, and trust me, i have been to most, i just don't like writing bad reviews of korean places.the line scheme seemed disorganized, the waiters leave the waiting list on a stool for anyone to come and edit it--which is what i would have done.the quality of the meat is about 80 percent. which is a B-Minus. presentation makes it better, the earthenware they use makes it seem more authentic than it is, but if you're a real korean, and not some nit-wit who falls victim to impermanent trends that are fly by night, then you will know good meat quality.the alarm should go off when the meats are over marinated, the beef should have the quality, so that even if you just used salt and pepper, the taste of the superior cut will surface beyond the smoke and grease, which we strangely crave, don't we?77 dollars between three people including a healthy tip, not bad for mothers day.21.99 per person + tea + tip.

❤️‍?The service is really good and very fast. There is no such thing as sitting around and waiting for no one to take care of you! And the waiters will help with the barbecue! I was really shocked by the barbecue guy’s hand speed. I didn’t have a chance to take a break to play with my phone during the whole process! ! Being fed like crazy all the time! ! ! I can't eat it. I really can't eat it. After grilling, I immediately ask you if you want to add meat. After ordering, the food is served immediately. I have never had such an efficient all you can eat? Here are some of the meats I ordered:USDA prime beef brisket❤️❤️❤️❤️Marinated USDA Choice Beef Rib Finger❤️❤️❤️❤️Grade1 Sliced Beef Tongue❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Premium Black Angus Beef Belly❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ (Really fragrant and tender!!)Thin Sliced Canadian Pork Belly❤️❤️❤️❤️Pork Neck Steak ❤️❤️(a little bit of firewood)Pork Shoulder❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ (a must-order for every barbecue)
