The food is delicious, but it comes at a higher price point. Pancakes are around $30, while ribs are about $60. The service was excellent, though, and overall, it was a satisfying experience.

Their spicy marinated raw crab is AMAZING!! We drive up from OC just for the crab! Everything we've tried has been excellent and their staff is so friendly and welcoming. Can't recommend this place enough!

Every vegetable dishes were over cooked and throw in very small amount of meat to ruin the dishes. If vegetable dish, stay with only vegetable. The meat quality is low for the price. Service was very poor, very unfriendly, asking more tea or water, they act like we are asking for favor.

I always come here for the Soy Sauce Fermented Raw Shrimp! The sauce is prepared perfectly every time. My guests have tried a variety items on their menu from Galbi to Tofu to soups and stews. They love everything they tried. Very authentic Korean food. The service is always friendly and patient to explain the menu items. It's a perfect setting to catch up with family and friends and have great conversation because the restaurant is never too loud or noisy. AND I LOVE THE K-POP MUSIC THEY PLAY!!!! Absolutely my best go-to Korean restaurant.

Stopped by HanEuem on a Thursday and it was definitely poppin! They have a small lot but it's valet after dark - would still opt for it since parking is kind of rough around this area unless you're willing to walk far. At 6pm the crowds were still light but it got very busy and noisy after. First, the service: the gal who seated us was so so amazing and cute! She was very friendly and approachable and made sure we had everything we needed. Ok now the food! We ordered the rice cake stew and pork belly kimchi pancake. Service was quick but maybe because the sides were so dang good - the japchae and fish cakes were so so flavorful and everything else deserved a second round :'). The rice cake stew was good and not as spicy as advertised but I felt like it was lacking ingredients: it was mainly just rice cakes and fish cakes with glass noodles. The pancake was good flavor wise but it was too mushy while also being very oily - the crisp parts at the side were very good though! Overall, winning service with the gal. I didn't get her name :c but definitely 6 stars for her!

One of the best Korean places I've been to. I loved their Pork Belly and Baby octopus dish. It had tons of bean sprouts which seemed a bit odd at first, but completed the dish. Everything was perfectly seasoned. A little sweet and salty but not too much of each. Very big portions and great side dishes.

Came by with a party of six for brunch. Was at first pleasantly surprised at the lack of a line. Unfortunately we found this to be some of the most over-salted food we've encountered outside of a chain restaurant. If you are here drinking a lot of soju, perhaps you may not notice, but at brunch, the over-salting was painfully apparent. Both my partner and I felt lethargic hours after our meal. The coating of salt on the inside of my mouth would just not go away. The seafood pancake was not fully cooked on the inside when it came out, either. I can't understand the hype.

Food was good...not enough servers and cooks considering how long it took to get our order.

HanEuem is a contender for one of my top ten favorite restaurants in Koreatown! I think this place was quite popular last year (?) but it seems like the hype might have calmed down a bit. I was seated right away with a party of 2 on a Saturday night. We ordered the braised short rib with cheese and the pork belly kimchi stew. I had low expectations for the kimchi stew, since it's usually not my preference, but I was really impressed with the depth of flavors. I think they add tomatoes to make the broth, and it makes a huge difference. If I wanted to be picky, I'd say the pork belly was a little tough, but it's a minor squick for me. I drank every bit of the leftover broth. The galbijjim was great too - they don't skimp on the cheese and the staff cut the meat off the bones for us. We ordered this fully intending to have leftovers :) At the end of the meal, our waiter also packed up our leftovers, which was nice considering how messy it can get.

A black girl walking into this restaurant may raise eyebrows but nope! I fit right in they-smiled at my the whole time. I ordered the prime rib beef cabbage. And it was a 10 out of 10 the service was great. The ambience was above and beyond nice and comfy. I recommend this to anyone nearby.

Their raw marinated shrimp do not have the intestines removed! For a restaurant with a Chef in their name the simple act of removing this fecal piece via toothpick should be already done. Smh.
