We stopped to grab breakfast when we found ourselves in their part of town. We were so glad we did! We have wonderfully seasoned breakfast sandwiches, delicious pastries, and good coffee.

I love this spot, great customer service & usually get my orders to go. I highly recommend their cafe latte with almond milk and freshly cut mangos. There’s a few seats for outdoor seating but it’s a great spot for some baked goods too.***update***I tried their tres leches and a macaroon. The cake was phenomenal and the macraroon was good, overall their offerings have been solid & my favorite local bakery.

Love their fresh baked baguettes! They seal them up to go if you want. I know new owners so hopefully they don't change this.

Recently this cafe started serving Jamaican cuisine which I was super excited about. So far I’ve tried their Jamaican patties which are really really good and remind me of the jamaican patties served back home in Miami. Can’t wait to try their oxtail next!

I haven't been here for a while, but it has nothing to do with the Scandinavian origins. The pastries look tired and run-of-the-mill. There was nothing Danish as the name of the establishment might suggest. I see no reason to come here for the one, sad cold case of pastries. I have no idea how the Danish notion of "Hygge" aligns with the Caribbean food also sold in the same establishment. Maybe the cultures and sentiments align on some level, but it just feels like two small businesses needed a space, but couldn't afford it individually. When I walked in the only employee was busy browsing her phone. She didn't look up at any point while I stood at the counter, nor as I walked out again. This place needs to give up.

Hands down the best choice for your corporate catering needs. The food was AMAZING, not just one thing, but everything was delicious! The service is incredible. They go above and beyond to get the job done. I work for a Fortune 500 company that has offices all over North America, this was by far the best catered lunch I’ve seen in my 10 years in this business. My team kept complimenting me on the food, Thanks Hygge!

I'm in downtown Los Angeles for training for work. I decided to walk a few blocks away and come here. Decided to place an order of a drink and waited; and they didn't have certain ingredients in stock. Wish I was told earlier, to choose another drink.

I saw a 2 star review that said Mike has left the building and I think he left it in good hands. Food comes out faster, can't beat fresh Jamaican patties and the customer service has been stellar! I couldn't decide between jerk or bbq chicken and the owner gave me both to try, no extra charge! I get the feeling that people are going to give low stars and knock this place because black business owners took over but I'm here to say, the new owners have made major improvements. They even deliver through yelp now :)

Best authentic Jamaican restaurant and bakery Especially their oxtail and rice and peas traditional side vegetables feels like a taste of Jamaica. I’m excited that downtown LA finally has one of the best Jamaican restaurant. Also, their staff was really friendly everyone greets and has really great customer service.
