This place is kind of a hole in the wall location in West LA. I found it when I used to go to the gym next door to them. But, the service and food are great. I always sit at the bar, and the bartender is always very friendly and professional.

Everything from the ambience, service, presentation, and the food itself was absolutely first rate. I started with my usual Caesar, and the dressing was fantastic. I split it with my lovely date and the serving is definitely large enough. I then moved on to the pasta dish that has shrimp and lobster and it was absolutely delicious. The sauce has a bit of cake to it so be ready. Everything that the others at my table had looked fantastic as well. Erica was our server and I can't say enough great things about her. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. It is free parking in the garage next to the building, but we parked on the street because we didn't notice the sign.

Not a particularly gastronomic area of LA, but the food, service, and atmosphere made it a worthwhile detour. They also validate parking for the garage next door, which was a plus.Parking: They now validate at the parking garage next door. Plenty of parking at dinner.

Pleasantly surprised by this restaurant, looks like a place for locals which is fine because I live in the area. Nothing all that exciting but solid food and service, the kind of restaurant that I would add to my rotation when I'm not looking for something different and want a solid joint. We had the grilled octopus which was just ok along with the seafood cioppino which was good. I had the vodka martini which was good with a generous pour. I would definitely return and maybe sit outside which is quite nice, interior is nothing special but ok!

Every single time I’ve come here with friends of family I’m amazed at how delicious the food is. Every plate in the menu is unique and amazing. The ambience is also perfect for dates, birthdays, work dinner, etc. It’s one of my favorite Italian places in LA.Parking: Parking garage fee is validated by the restaurant so it’s free

Used to be an excellent place, now it is just another wildly overpriced westside restaurant, past its prime. The prices are very high for what you get, which is uninspired Italian food, boring pastas, meat dishes that feel like they were leftovers from the previous night. The crowd is older and crankier, and they have the outside patio lit up to wear it is scorching hot -- on a very cold night. Asking them to turn down the heat lamps means incurring the wrath of some of the geriatrics who scream at the idea of things being anything other than a sauna. Sad to see, but every place has its rise and fall.

Fantastic outdoor ambience. We had a Cesar salad and one of their specials which was chicken alfredo fettuccini. Both were great.

I passed by this restaurant for years. We thought it was an expensive high end restaurant as we always saw exotic cars at the valet. But then we tried it.The price on their food and drinks was on par with other new restaurant $$-$$$. And i love the outdoor patio seating next to the manmade waterfall and stream (off for water conservation.) Its a large courtyard within the old Executive Tower. Il Moro is very generous with the outdoor patio heaters. This is a local favorite for the older generation. Maybe its because I always have a 6pm dinner reservation. As we leave, we see younger couples and groups. They have a private room that can fit a party of 10-12. It's really nice: All glass overlooking the main dining room and courtyard. My family and my in-lawsThe calamari is my favorite. And I always get the lamb chops when available. That reduction sauce is amazing. However, as with the current trend, the price went up and the portions are smaller. All the other dishes were really good. Not super amazing and fabulous, but consistent and tasty for the price range. Good service too.6/2024.Tonight just theParking: There was a homeless encampment a block away. It seems the city finally relocated them. That's why I come for early dinners: parking up front, brighter, and felt safer. Let's all hope these less fortunate individuals find housing elsewhere and don't return (1-1.5 blocks south of the restaurant.)

The service really stood out. Our server, Barron was great. He quickly and cheerfully replaced a cocktail, made good wine and aperitif pairings (granted I'm not a wine drinker) and fully understood (not just memorized) the menu. He and all help were attentive during a great fixed menu Valentine's Day experience. All the food was really good. The branzino (sea bass) and raviolis (different menu items) were spectacular. Don't forget the cheesecake. Actually, the brasoula (appetizer) was just average. On a windy cool night we were comfortably toasty due to the remarkable (nearly excessive) amount of heat lamps. I'm certain they would have turned ours down had we asked. The waterfall is fun. I am sure everyone was on their A game for Valentine's Day but, we are definitely going back. Thanks Barron. -Iain
