Food quality inconsistent; below my expectation for a Drago restaurant. Osso Buco and polenta outstanding. But, salad over-dressed and fish not at the peak of freshness. Lovely staff.

Definitely one of the best Italian spots in all of LA food is authentic. The staff is authentic and the ambience is just great. You really could be sitting in a café in Rome or Capri for that matter this place never fails. Price point is great fun date night, family, gatherings, special celebrations girls night out bring it over there.

Il Segreto is easily the best Italian food you can get in LA hands down. What sets the food apart even more is the fact that you feel as though you're in Italy, as the food is so light and you can keep eating without getting lethargic.. Il Pastaio, Il Fornaio and various other high end places are also absolutely amazing but they don't compete in my opinion with Il Segreto

This restaurant is truly the best. As soon as we walked in, Pierre, the kindest man, helped us. This restaurant made a stellar choice hiring him; he is perfect. Once we were seated, Francesco was our waiter. That man is talented. I told him exactly what kind of wine I was craving that evening, and he picked out the perfect bottle. I was impressed by how on target he was. All the recommendations he made were delicious. We tried the specials and, of course, their filet. We then finished with their crème brûlée. Chef's kiss to all the food. Great for date night, double dates, girls' night, and boys' night! Can't wait to go back!

Food was amazing!! We had family dinner there. Wine was absolutely stunning! Wish this place would be little bigger, because people sit very close to each other. But anyway, great place to spend time

It was raining on and off all day. It was not raining when we went in. The reservation was made two weeks before. At first the manager offered a table outside which we declined. So we were seated upstairs at a corner table which seemed very nice. However when it started to rain again the person in our party seating under the A/C duct felt water was dripping. The duct had some white sealing material around it but the other duct next to it didn't have any and was dry. Obviously the restaurant was previously aware of the leak and tried to fix it. We called the manager and his first response was “this is not the end of the world “. He suggested to the person under the dripping duct to move away close to her husband. After that we saw a puddle forming on the floor and we left without having any deserts. The manager called after us that it was only one drop...

We didn't get service for the first 15mins. We were crammed in next to other tables; couldn't even hear ourselves speak. Next tables were so close to us. My husband sat next to a fireplace upstairs which had a ledge; he kept hitting his head against it. When we finished our meal, we waited for over 20 mins for someone to come collect our credit card. We finally just brought it to the head waiter downstairs. I would not go back. Rushed, loud and crowded. Good news, portions were big.

Everything was AMAZING. Amazing food, amazing ambience, amazing waiters. We went on Valentine's Day, and they had beautiful decorations. A violinist and cellist performed for us all night long. It was a beautiful night, and our waiter was very nice. Whole experience 10/10.

So impressed by Il Segreto, "The Secret" is well-named, because it's tucked away in the corner of the Glen Center mini-mall, so easy to miss. But you don't want to miss this exceptional restaurant--absolutely one of the best Italian restaurants in LA. The decor is simple and warm, with large photographs of Italy. The staff is friendly and many have Italian accents (I heard Italian coming from the kitchen, too).I ordered the classic Spaghetti and meatballs--because that's what I was in the mood for. It was the best I've had outside of Italy, and honestly was as good as anything I had in Italy, too.Everything was fresh, the "light spicy" tomato sauce was bright and deep. I'm not good with "spicy" but this was really mild and I loved it. The meatballs are ground beef and veal and perfectly seasoned. My friend had the spaghetti with black pepper sauce and and pecorino cheese. It was rich, peppery and delicious, too.The serving was large and I took half of it home. Yes, they do charge $1.50 for the bread, olive oil and balsamic vinegar--but it's grilled, hot and well worth it.Note that they don't have some dishes you might except, like lasagne or carbonara, but what they serve is so exceptional I look forward to dining here again soon!Parking: Lot can get crowded at peak times, but there are spaces in the back and on the street.

Our last meal of 2023 turned out to be our best meal of 2023. Usually attempting to go to a restaurant on New Year's Eve yielded mixed results as the waitstaff and kitchen would tend to be overwhelmed. Not at Il Segreto! Everything was perfect and the staff was top notch. Can't really express how much we enjoyed our meal and dining experience because Il Segreto raised the bar to an entirely new level.
