This bakery is right next to my jiujitsu gym and their delectable pastries tempt me every time! I got the chocolate flan and the fruit tart and me and my husband loved them both

Liked: amazingly friendly service Designated parking spots Family owned Honest opinion: The baked items had excellent presentation but weren't for my personal taste buds. They were sweet with sugar (?) but tasted like they lacked something but I can't quite put my finger on it. This bake shop is located in a tough spot for business but has a couple parking spots in front which is nice if you snag one. If you're coming from Barrington and turn right on Olympic, it's easy to then turn right on the street that JFB is located. If you're coming the opposite way, Olympic turning left to get there it's kinda dangerous imo!

What a find. Off the beaten path on Barry Ave, off of Olympic and Barrington. I stopped by and found that this wholesale bakery also has a Cafe open just during the week. I had the daily special, Berria taco. It was amazing. I also took home a Cho chocolate flan, some fruit bar, really great gf banana bread. Oh , yeah some sourdough bread and bagels. While I was there, I ordered a pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving. It's deep dish and delish. I've now found my go to for pastry, bread and food needs. I already ordered a pie for the Holidays

Was a tiny bit hard to find. Located on a narrow dead end street with other non dining businesses. They have a table outside to eat on. A couple of parking spots right out front for free. Family owned- very sweet people. The pastry are very good. Other items on their menu, sandwiches, cut up fruits etc are also good. FYI I don't recommend the mango juice in their fridge grab and go are. It didn't taste good, weirdly sweet and not worth the calories and sugar. The orange juice is good though.

Such a hole in the wall, super easy to miss but great spot for baked goods

Absolutely mind blowing the deliciousness and quality of the desserts plus how affordable they are. They’re selling at wholesale price basically… aka they have a customer for life in me! My new go-to for sourdough bread. Even had gluten free muffins and flourless chocolate cake. I’m obsessed.

If this place got a bad review you’re either rude and impatient or just over expecting. This place gives small mountain town charm in the big city. It reminds me of the bakery in Payson Arizona that’s now closed. I’ve been to this place twice and ordered once from Uber eats. Yummy each time. We got the spinach mozzarella quiche, blueberry muffin and a lemon poppyseed muffin, both were simply incredible. The lemon poppyseed is my new fav but the blueberry is classic. We also got a few sandwiches. The Italian submarine and the tuna sandwich are both delicious. The submarine roll is my favorite bread. The tuna comes on a lovely toasted brioche bun with lettuce, tomato, and they missed the mustard but luckily I was home so I just used my mustard and they still get 5 stars because the love they put in to everything. The sandwich came with a side salad and they were courteous to put a liner between the sandwich and salad, please reference to picture for the appreciation of the little things in life.

The pastries are amazing and the tuna salad was great.
I ordered a cappuccino and this is what i got... a warm cup of milk. So unfortunately that the person had no idea what she was doing. It was terrible I couldn't even drink it just poured it in the trash.

Hidden gem! Food is delicious! The only thing I would like is a little more of a portion. Not because it's so little, more because it's so delicious!

Even if you place your order in advance, it will not be ready on time. If it is not going to be ready, inform me, do not lie to me to buy yourself time to finish. There is literally only three parking spots. They do have quite possibly the BEST cheesecake you will find anywhere. The cheesecake is a bit expensive, but worth trying. There is also a Cafe to the Bakery and they have some great food. It is hidden down a small side street and easy to miss. I would have given a better score, but based on today's visit, I cannot.
