We order from this place almost every week. It was our most favorite pizza in Los Angeles. Sadly in the past month or so, the quality of pizza has significantly is affected. The pizza now is filled with garlic and onion. The crust usually now is burnt. Something is off with the new chef… ?

I adore this amazing eatery. My favorite thing is the Ricotta & Orange Blossom Honey toast. The bread is crunchy, thick, grilled and fullof flavor. The extremely thick layer of high quality ricotta has such a delicate sweeness. Topped with toasted sesame seeds that add not only texture but a slight nuttiness that perfectly compliments the ricotta. And then the piece de resistance is the perfect drizzle of local orange blossom honey it adds the peefect end note to this lucious dish.
I love eating there as well. Everyone is so friendly. The cooks are consistent and fabulous.
It's so much fun just enjoying the sights and sounds of Fairfax while have the best pizza or various bruschettas they offer. The ambiance is half pizza joint and half Los Angeles trendy eatery.
It's definitely one of my favorite places to dine.

We were earlier than our reservation but the host accommodated us and we sat shortly after arriving. The service was quick and efficient. Everything we ordered was delicious. My only negatives are it was loud and the portions were small for the price. Either way I'd definitely be back.

I went to this place a few days back. Restaurant added mandatory 18% service charge, not a server gratuity. I wanted to tip directly, but they wouldn't remove it. The manager (brunette lady with tattoos) was extremely rude and bluntly told me that if I don’t like it I shouldn’t come back to their establishment.

The staff was nice and the food was good. We had calamari, margarita pizza, bolognese and a couple of beers. We enjoyed our time there, nothing spectacular, but again, it's not that we went to Bestia or Felix; always manage your expectations.So, we are leaving and the check was dropped to our table. I see 18% service charge and I go to the host stand to pay with Apple Pay. That's when I wanted to make sure that they did charge 18% gratuity but I found out that 18% service charge Is for the kitchen and not for the servers. I asked them to remove it so I can tip 20% the wait staff, but they said no. So the manager came, a brunette woman which she compensated for her lack of height with her gigantic attitude and she said: "no, we will not remove the service charge."So this restaurant wants its guests to pay for the wages of their kitchen staff... this is absurd. I thought this was illegal, but maybe not anymore. Regardless, screw that place, go somewhere else.

First time at this location .. We booked a 6:15 reservation for 4, 2 arrived at 6pm & my partner & I were 15 mins late and apologetic at that. One of the hostesses was on a power kick that seemed racially motivated (we’re black). Was trying to put us on a “timer” to eat because she had another reservation at 7:45. Made it seem like our reservation didn’t matter and whoever this group of 4 was that was coming an hour & 30 mins later was sooo important we needed to be scolded… mind you I’m sure other tables would’ve been open by then.. management should have her chill because it’s really not that deep as someone who’s been a host before.. Our waiter & food were great besides that.

However the service and atmosphere were completely spoilt by the staff on the door. 3 of them hung out there (we could hear from our table) - being rude to customers and then being rude about them after they were either seated or sent away. (Restaurant was packed out). Even we (with reservation) found them cold. Shame. Terrible staff with attitude.

This is a nice cozy place and the food is good too, however, when you get the check they add an 18% gratuity fee and in bold letter and circled write a whole paragraph on how this is not a tip and it's set by the restaurant to help the employees get a fair wage. You can see how this is incredibly predatory and misleading. Just raise your prices by 18% instead of tricking people into paying more. This is the opposite of transparency and I probably will never go here again until they remove this bad practice. Can't believe they thought this is a good idea ...
