La Abeja is our family's favorite breakfast spot. My parents started taking me here when I was nine years old and now my kids get to enjoy it just as much. The food is amazing. The waiters and owner are always very interactive with our family. The steak, Picado and pork adoba are especially amazing!

This review is solely for the chile relleno burrito because it's the only thing I have tried here and will likely ever try because it is their most bestest creation. A burrito with a chile relleno in it, what more can you want?? Their beans are really good (#2 beans in NELA behind Chicos), and their chile is cooked well and the cheese is melted and delicious. It's the perfect vehicle for eating chile rellenos on the go. Are there other things here I should probably try? Absolutely. Will I as long as the chile relleno burrito exists? Probably not.

A old neighborhood place for more the 40 years. Everybody speak to you like old friends. And food still old schoolVegetarian options: Limited
This place is owned operated by my grandpa and grandma, well not actually mine but someone's great grandparents no doubt. They are really friendly and the comfort that comes over you when you order, you can tell by the enthusiasm yet humbleness from El Don (the owner) that you are about to be treated like family just for stopping by for some food...just like when you visit the abuelos. The steak picado and The chile verde burritos are ??? not mention they don't cost and arm or a leg ?.Whatever you order its all good, those were my picks for a quick bite UNDER $10,Everything taste amazing and offers most of what you ate as a kid that actually taste like Mom was in the kitchen...even menudo but thats only on weekends.LOS ANGELES LANDMARK!Parking is a bit thin but its totally worth the flavor, taste and service!!!
This is my local joint for Mexican-American fare. They don't offer chicken, fish, buche, cabeza or alcohol. They are super friendly, and have great burritos, enchiladas, rellenos and beans. The beans are great because they are home made with 'love', AKA manteca. Don't expect tiny limp tacos, which I hate anyway. Theirs are big and hard, (or soft if you ask.) street parking is usually available.

This is the worse place to eat. It took ONE HOUR to get our food. Our order was huevos rancheros and a steak picado, nothing fancy or complicated. This place was not even busy. They dismiss you , and ignore you completely. Families were coming after we sat down and they got their order first. I guess because I didn't look Mexican they ignored me. Never coming to this place again. Dirty looking with a terrible customer service
