Like all the Lala's locations. The food is fantastic. The service is more than adequate. The only down I have is that it is a little loud for me but I have hearing issues and so for most people this won't be a problem. I think in the many times I've been to law loss. I've only ever had to wait once, but obviously if you're going at a very busy time, say a Friday or Saturday night there will definitely be a wait. Having traveled to Argentina. I can state that the recipes are quite authentic. The portions are not. The portions here are massive whereas in Argentina it was a more normal amount of food. Not that I'm complaining, I always like taking home leftovers from Lala's

Used to love coming here, especially as a solid late night option. It’s been listed as “temporarily closed” for a while now. Can you guys please comment on the status?

Love this place and the location. My heart sunk a little as I walked by the closed Melrose location today. Very happy the place is only temporarily closed till 2024! Whew!! The food and ambiance is excellent. Anticipating your reopening the Melrose location! In the meantime I'll check out the other locations!

This place is a no brainer. Casual yet vibrant it's always packed. It's 100% the food. From the empanadas to the morcillas to the entraña with mash potatoes. You'll devour your meal in minutes. Looking around people are nicely dressed and fully enjoying the atmosphere. It's all about the food!!! Enjoy!

I've brought two out of town friends here and ordered the same thing both times just because the first time was so good that I repeated everything. We got seated in their covered outdoor space which was great because it was covered but allowed me to bring my dog there. It was a nice area minus the pigeons that occasionally flew in.What we got was the Plato Mixto, that was like a sampler of all their meats and two sides. I asked our server what she would recommend as a side and she mentioned the mashed potatoes and salad. My friends and I both thought that having a green of some sort would be beneficial so we went with her suggestions. So, everyone, staff included says their chimichurri is delicious. While it was delicious with the starting bread and chimichurri...No disrespect but I didn't use that much of it after that because their meats were cooked so well that I didn't think I needed it at all. None of the meats were bad BUT I'll say that the skirt steak was just so flipping delicious that it made me wonder why it's overshadowed by NY strip or ribeye. I enjoyed the sweetbreads and my friends who had never heard of it before also agreed that it was tasty-always glad to have people see the magic over offal cuts.

We ordered Lala's via Uber Eats and enjoyed our dinner. The 2 person meal has a good amount of food so I thought it was worth the price. We had the rib-eye & Al Champignon (cream mushroom chicken) - though we ordered delivery, it was delicious & steak was perfectly medium rare!!!Definitely a great option for delivery, I haven't gone in person yet but would actually love to after my experience.

Some of the menu items aren't what they used to be. Especially the carrot and potato soup. It used to be thick and taste fresh. Now it's a salty watery mess. Was my favorite. Too bad

My Husband and I had the urge for Argentine cuisine. So on a Friday night we decided to stop by LaLa's.I liked the decor, inside it was softly lit and felt very intimate. Despite the resteraunt being very busy that night I did not feel overwhelmed .We were seated immediately and we ended up sitting at a smaller table for two. The chairs were comfortable. We had : For appetizers- -Shrimp Patagonia : Well cooked and seasoned perfectly. -LaLa's mashed potatoes : A very smoothe consistency with bits of pureed carrots. Main courses - The "Guacho " rib eyed steak: My husband ordered this and he loved it. It's topped with garlic, and onion etc .And I had the "Costilla" rib-eye that on recommendation I had cooked medium rare and it was one of the best cuts of steak that I've had recently. We also had thier dark chocolate cake as well it was great. I'm glad we spent the evening here. And I look forward to returning.

We went to the location in downtown LA on 9th street. Absolutely delicious food, big portions. EVERYTHING was delicious. Excellent service with friendly staff. Very clean and cute. I highly recommend this restaurant and intend to eat there every time I have to go to downtown.

Great place for gathering and enjoy the Argentina dishes together. The lunch special really worth it. 6oz NY steak is served with a large plate of baby green salad underside. The Empanada are crispy and juicy enough while the steak may not be as thick as I thought.
