Everything at L'Appart is delicious and tastes like a bite straight out of France. Nothing misses here! The mussels (the broth is insane), the lamb shank (wow!), and escargot pizza (to die for). No matter what you order here you will be amazed by the flavors and quality of food. Truly a hidden gem of Downtown Los Angeles. Will definitely be back for more fantastic food

What a beautiful and cozy place to celebrate an occasion. Matthew and his team provided outstanding service where we couldn't ask for more. The food was amazing, very tasty! Would we go back again Absolutely, enjoyed every second of it.

Came after Dodgers opening day game. Had some wine at Garçon waiting for the restaurant to open. Interesting, moderate priced wines. Started with Grilled Octopus with an eggplant purée, Chardonnay/ tresselier blend from the Loire was a great pairing. Octopus was nicely smoky from char, and great texture. Entrees were the 48 hour beef bourguignon and the duck confit. Both were legit and quite delish. Confit with crackling skin always appreciated. Had poached pear and the red fruit seasonal tart. They were nice. Great ambience in the bar and resto, and enthusiastic service. Looking forward to my next visit. Already craving those mains. Viva La France!

They have moved to a new location. I loved the new location it's more spacious, the only thing I missed is the live tv they had in their previous location where you could see the chef preparing the food. The food was good as usual. Loved the garlic bread. As I am not drinking alcohol the bar tender was able to customize a drink for me, i really appreciate that. They have a nice list of cocktail and some amazing wines. Risotto was nice and creamy.

We wanted to check out Garcons de Cafe but somehow ended up at Air Food L'appart instead. The restaurants are connected, so it's either the same owner or some sort of partnership. Ambiance was great - It did not feel like we're in the middle of DTLA lol. Our server, Sylvaine was extremely knowledgeable and recommended amazing dishes. + Onion & shallots soup 5/5: Omg! This is probably one of the best onion soup I've ever had. It was light but very flavorful. We should have each gotten our own lol. + Burgundy snails 4/5: I love escargot but I wish this dish would've tasted more garlicky. I guess the natural flavors of the snail did shine thru since the sauce wasn't too overpowering. + Oysters (5/5): No complaints! Thankfully no sandy gritty ones. + Bayonne (pizza) 4/5: Nicely baked and cheesy pizza. Ham was a bit salty. + Pear dessert 5/5: Poached pear with chocolate drizzle. It was not ridiculously sweet. I was glad I got to try this! + Lillet Fritz 4/5: Cocktail with rose and sparkling wine. It was just okay - too dry for my liking! All the dishes we ordered tasted great and I enjoyed my dinner here. Will come back with the dogs next time since restaurant is dog-friendly too!

I recently dined at L’appart and was blown away by the experience. The ambiance was charming, with dim lighting and cozy seating arrangements. The staff were incredibly attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, providing excellent recommendations. As for the food, each dish was a masterpiece of flavors and presentation. From the appetizers to the desserts, every bite was a delight. I especially loved « Tartare de Duck Breast »that really well seasoned and « Boeuf Bourguignon », which was cooked to perfection. Overall, I highly recommend L’Appart for anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. I’ll be back when I come back in LA.

We had a great time here! Everything we ordered tasted delicious: escargot, duck leg confit, lamb shank, and sea bass. Waiter helped us pick a great wine, overall I'd definitely come back. Only downside to this was parking. I chose to park at the Pershing square garage and you just have to walk through an area that has a lot of street wanderers. Out of the restaurants control, but worth noting. Also did not see the valet that was mentioned on the reservation, but I could have missed it. Parking at Pershing square on weeknights was $9 flat fee.

Really enjoyed the entire experience from the happy hour to the menu choices and it’s the simple things that matter. That restaurant will have you to come back over and over and pair it with a nice glass of wine!

Simply amazing. My friend Vince recommended this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The ambiance made me feel like I was in Paris and the food was just as good, if not better, than the food I had in France. I'd highly recommend the duck confit. It's best to make reservations in advance.

Always a pleasure to eat at l'appart. This restaurant is a real landmark for French people living in Los Angeles, because this is a real French restaurant. Far from the fancy, overpriced French restaurants, this is the place to come to discover French gastronomy.
